AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Greetings, I'm Marc Jaden Romero, an 18-year-old currently cruising through my senior
year in Grade 12 Confucius at REH Montessori College. I was born on November 5, 2005, right
in the locale of Pinagpanaan, Talavera, Nueva Ecija. I am living together with my mom, Mylene,
and my older brother, JM.
I started my academic journey at Holy Angel Elementary School, laying down the
groundwork for the brainy stuff and fun. When I started my 7 th grade, I enrolled at REH
Montessori College for high school and up until now senior high school. When I'm not reading
some of my books studying our lessons, you'll find me on the court chasing that basketball thrill
or at my room having fun playing online games. The balls, hoops and online games life is my
favorite of them all, the teamwork, the wins, and just the joy of the game. It's where I spend a
good, perfecting those shots and having a blast with my friends.
In the classroom, I've got a soft spot for Filipino class. More than just the lessons, it gives
us a grief to where we come from, celebrating our roots and culture. I love how we tackle about
our history and go through as if I am living it through our discussions. Let's talk about my
comfort food, sinigang would always be my go-to. Something about that tamarind and the savory
pork just hits different, you know? It's like a warm hug for my taste buds most specially if it is
cooked by my mom. When I'm not playing games or at school, you can catch me exploring
different food. I'm not a food critic, just a guy who loves trying new flavors and enjoying good
meals.
As I go through the last year of senior high school, I'm soaking up the challenges and
good times that are shaping my path into the next chapters of my life, college and adulthood.
Here's to the memories made on the court, in the classroom, and around the table.

Travelogue: An Adventure: Exploring the Beauty of Boracay with the Family
Last summer, my family and I decided to travel on an unforgettable journey to the
tropical paradise of Boracay. The mere mention of its name flashed images of the white-sand
beaches, waters, and a sun-kissed atmosphere – the perfect recipe for a memorable vacation. Our
adventure began with the white sand beneath our feet as we arrived on the country-famous White
Beach. The gentle waves set the mood for our days in Boracay, promising us a relaxation,
excitement and ful of fun adventure ahead. As my family and I are eager to explore the vibrant
underwater world, we wasted no time donning snorkeling gear and diving into the crystal-clear
waters. The colors beneath the surface were breathtaking, I watched the fishes swim through the
most beautiful coral reefs I have ever seen. It was a magical underwater, and we were to witness
those.
For an extra dose of adrenaline and fun, we decided to take on the challenge of sea
activities, such as riding boats and banana boats. Soaring high the island, it felt like magic as if I
am living in a beautiful painting. The crystal-clear sea, the greenery of the island, and the vibrant
kites dotting the sky created a surreal, almost dreamlike, experience. We also tried jet skiing
wherein we took a short stroll in the coastline. The thrill of riding across the waves, wind
whipping through our hair, and the splashing of seawater on our faces, make us feel excited left
us craving more.
As the sunsets, we found ourselves drawn to the beachside for a different kind of
adventure, we took a leisurely stroll along the White Beach. The soft glow of torches illuminated
the sandy path, and the melody of live music added a rhythm to our evening. The nights were full
of different symphony of flavors as we explored Boracay's food. From fresh seafood platters to
tropical fruits, each meal was indeed very delicious like a celebration of the Boracay’s culinary.
Our nights were sprinkled with laughter as we navigated the bustling night markets and indulged
in a bit of local shopping. Handmade trinkets, colorful sarongs, and the irresistible aroma of local
delicacies added a unique flavor to our evenings.
As our Boracay adventure drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the
moments I shared with my family. Boracay had not only been a destination but a canvas for
creating beautiful memories. The sea activities, the vibrant sunsets, and the laughter echoing
across the beach had woven together an enchanting episode of my family escapades, a summer
story that would be retold and cherished for years to come.
