does influence later designing. Bauhaus page has some influence on

interviewed. Comprehensive, well written and ongoing investigation
worthy of full marks
2 Stand 1 9 Comprehensive design brief and specification. Had the specification
gone beyond ACCESSFM it could have gone to full marks.
3 Stand 1 11 2 delightful pages of design ideas. Imagination, creativity and
innovation have been shown. You might occasionally see even better
design work than these, but this is good enough for full marks in AQA GCSE
DT!
4 Stand 1 22 Development starts during the design ideas. Slide 14 shows an
excellent technique with modifications drawn onto photos of made
models. Concept if further refined through sketches,
physical models CAD and analysis. Final dimensions can be
gleaned from the 2D design work for laser cutting. The manufacturing
specification can be gleaned from the production diary. A clearer
manufacturing spec would have allowed for full marks.
5 Stand 1 24 Useful client feedback on design ideas slide 15 and throughout and at
the end. Great analytical comment throughout.
6 Stand 1 25 Credit was given for both the 3D printed model and ply outcome. The
ply outcome would have been difficult to assemble with the curves, and the
right hand end does not meet perfectly. This limits it to the second
mark band. Executed with more precision at this end it could have
gone into the top band. Without the 3D printed, assemble version the
mark would have been lower.
