Responsibility for Educational Funds and its Priority

“Funds are needed, to properly ACT and to create an IMPACT”. Knowledge, education, and learning are the
foundation of a thriving society as it equips people with the knowledge and abilities they need to reach their full potential.
To create an environment that supports high-quality learning and growth, which ensures the success of our educational
institutions and accomplishes the objectives of our future professionals, adequate financial resources are required. But the
misappropriation of educational funding has become a disturbing trend that jeopardizes the very foundation of our
educational systems. Students are the ones who pay the price for erroneously allocating educational resources that could
have been employed to address the urgent need for clean classrooms, functional facilities, and even adequate ventilation
but were instead given in exchange for contemporary restrooms that were rendered useless after just one week. Students
asked, “A million for a restroom, or a million for thousands of dreams?”

The Students of Dalubhasaang Politekniko ng Lungsod ng Baliwag are at the High Stakes of the Consequences of
Misusing Educational Funds. The quality of education being delivered is directly impacted even by the simplest offense of
misappropriating funds for education. The ramifications of diverting or siphoning money meant for educational purposes
are extensive. The educational outcomes for learners are severely hampered by a lack of critical resources, outmoded
instructional materials, crumbling infrastructure, and inadequate teacher preparation. Misallocation of funds to restrooms
instead of improvement of learning classrooms also hinders a country's overall development and advancement while
feeding the cycles of inequality and poverty. As our country now provides free education for everybody, schools clearly
couldn't handle owing to a lack of rooms and facilities to match the number of students enrolling surged.

Only Social Responsibility of our Dalubhasaan will help us fight fund misuse and wrong prioritization. To
address systemic challenges that facilitate misallocation, administrations and institutions of learning must give priority to
developing and implementing stringent financial management policies. To foster trust and accountability, transparent
auditing procedures should be put in place, emphasizing the necessity of ongoing evaluations and open disclosure of
financial records.

It is crucial to increase transparency at all times. It is crucial to streamline procurement procedures, make sure that
agreements are granted on the basis of merit instead of unfair advantage or any linked personal merit, and foster an
environment that has zero tolerance for corruption. Additionally, channels for reporting incidents of money laundering or
misconduct must to be implemented to encourage people to perform in an honest way, so exploitative will be the one
to worry about facing consequences.

The prosperity of generations to come has been placed at risk by the improper use of educational funding. It
damages public trust and contributes to the persistence of social and economic injustices. A diverse strategy must be used
to solve this problem. Authorities, educational institutions, and other institutions must work together to create effective
financial regulations, improve oversight procedures, and promote an environment of transparency and accountability. We
can only establish an educational environment which encourages, inspires, and provides all people with the skills and
information required for a brighter tomorrow by rooting out the improper use of educational expenses and developmental
priorities if our Dalubhasaan can only we student’s what truly need.
