ADR” Alternative dispute resolution” refers to finding solutions to problems without
going to court. It involves talking, making agreements, or having someone else
decide what's fair. Methods like negotiation, mediation, and arbitration help resolve
conflicts by working together, keeping communication open, and maintaining
relationships.
Mediation: A mediator person helps solve problems by finding a solution that benefits
everyone involved, acting as a neutral guide.
Arbitration is when a neutral arbitrator makes a final decision based on both parties'
disagreements, resolving the issue outside of a courtroom.
Negotiation: means both sides talking directly to find a solution they both like, without
needing someone else to help. The goal is for everyone to be happy with the outcome.
