- Introduction to mountain rescues in the Alps - Terrestrial rescues
- Helicopter procedures / operations - Crew resource management
(tactics / dynamic hoisting / longline)
- Hovering and longline operations practice on the Day 5
ground - Avalanche theory
- Lunch - Avalanche skill stations (avalanche transceivers /
- Training with the helicopter (hovering + longline) in probing / shoveling)

Day 2
- HEMS session 1 and 2 Day 6
- Medicine (AMS / HAPE / HACE) - Skiing up to 4164m (Breithorn)
- Demonstration of professional crevasse rescue - Survival

- Flight to Testa Grigia by helicopter, staying at the
Theodul mountain hut Day 7
- Rescue on the ski slopes
Day 3 - HEMS session 3
- Movements on glaciers
- Improvised crevasse rescues Day 8
- Organized crevasse rescues with tri-/ bipod - Questions and discussion
