PROJECT AIMS:
1. Cultivate Leadership Skill
Cultivating leadership skills refers to the deliberate and ongoing process of developing and
enhancing the abilities and attributes necessary to effectively lead and inspire others. It involves acquiring
knowledge, honing specific competencies, and adopting attitudes and behaviors that empower individuals
to guide, motivate, and influence others towards achieving common goals or objectives.
2. Personal Growth
Personal growth in leadership refers to the ongoing process of self-improvement, self-awareness,
and development of skills and qualities that enhance an individual's effectiveness as a leader. It involves
the deliberate effort to expand one's knowledge, capabilities, and mindset in order to lead with greater
impact and authenticity.
3. Civic Engagement
Civic engagement in leadership refers to the active participation of individuals in their
communities, societies, or broader political contexts to address social issues, contribute to public
discourse, and promote positive change. It involves leaders leveraging their influence, resources, and
skills to encourage civic participation, advocate for causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to address
community needs and advance collective goals.
4. Bridge Gaps
"Bridging gaps" in a leadership training program refers to addressing and closing the disparities
or deficiencies that exist between the current skills, knowledge, or competencies of participants and the
desired or required standards for effective leadership.
5. Promote Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity in leadership refers to having a leadership team or group that includes individuals from
a variety of backgrounds, experiences, demographics, and perspectives. It encompasses differences in
race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, disability status, and other
dimensions of diversity.
Inclusion in leadership refers to creating a work environment where all individuals feel valued,
respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents. It involves fostering a
culture of belonging, equity, and mutual respect, where differences are celebrated and everyone has equal
