SOC201: Introduction to Sociology

Introduction

Communities vary enormously of cultural customs, habits, and behaviors, as well as their

religious practices, leading in a more diverse demographic population (Author Unknown, 2008).

The climate and environs, and the climate, can shift radically and have a significant impact both

on directly and indirectly conduct of ancient civilisations and individual people, and also their

viewpoints and connections with each other and with enviroment. The contemporary

inconsistencies have an influence on a wide range of community structures, the government

process, and the various behaviors of people and organizations, among others. The election

system in the United States, which is connected with society institutions as well as individual

actions and characteristics, should be investigated and recognized for its achievements.

The Concept of Politics

The United States is a functioning democracy with a government which is federal that is

elected by the people. State representatives are elected by the people to serve them at the

national, regional, and local levels. These legislators are in responsible of introducing laws that

controls the United States. As a consequence, members of the united States are able to

effectively control the political system, despite the fact that no law forces them to. There are only

a few exemptions because votes are mostly determined by two main parties: the Democratic

party and the Conservatives. Moreover, the majority of those in power are membership of one or

even more parties, despite the fact that voters elect individual politicians to positions of

authority. As a result, major parties make for the vast bulk of electoral policy in the United States
Minorities have a crucial part in elections and carry out critical responsibilities

throughout the process. Both during the electoral system as well as during the campaign time,

they are communicated to the electorate. They are similarly well-represented, guaranteeing that

your interests, feelings, and demands are acknowledged and valued on an equal footing with

those of other people in the same situation. However, the engagement of ethnic minorities in

issues like immigration, on either side, increases the level of complexity and difficulty in dealing

with this problem (Monieson, D. D., 2010). Rather than supporting their constituents, politicians

might in certain cases exacerbate their difficulties and worries in their private lives.

A fall in the percentage of non-Hispanic caucasian eligible voters occurred in every

nation from 2000-2018, with double-digit reductions occurring in 11 states during this period.

During the same time period, the proportion of Hispanic voters grew in each of the 3 nations

studied. Most notably, these advancements may be seen in the Southwestern United States in

states such as Vegas, Texas, and California, so they're more obvious. During the previous 18

years, the proportion of Hispanic voters in the US has increased significantly. Diverse ethnic

groups make choices that are closely tied to the prospect that demographic transitions could have

an influence on election results. According to poll data from the Pew Research Center (2021)

covering more than two decades, the Progressives has maintained a strong and long-lasting

advantage among registered Hispanic, Asian, and Black American voters. White people have

maintained a rather stable political balance over the previous decade, with the Conservative

Movement maintaining a modest edge over the Democratic Party throughout that time.

In comparison to legislative elections around 2004, there's been a modest change in the

results of elections held in succeeding years. Around 2004, the officials were attentive and

sensitive to foreigners; but, even during present polls, the authorities' views towards ethnic
minorities and community concerns were less worried than they were in 2004. The system of

government must face up to its own issues and challenges. The Political world, which is

connected with society institutions as well as individual behaviors and personalities, should be

analyzed, and its achievements should be recognized when appropriate.
