Direct COSEC Login via query string


Dear Friends,

Matrix COSEC provides a comprehensive and complete solution for Time-


Attendance and Access Control. This mailer will help user to direct log in COSEC via
query string

 This feature is available in COSEC V6R1 and onward versions

 When different applications support different authentication method, user has


to remember all credentials to log in

 To lessen use of multiple credentials across enterprise network a feature –


single sign on is available

 This solution reduces the number of sign-ons that a user must perform to access
multiple applications and servers

 With this feature a user can login in once and get access to all systems without
being prompted to log in again at each of the application

 By this feature user can login to COSEC ESS from his company portal. He doesn’t
need to open the COSEC ESS page and put the User ID and Password

 In COSEC, there are two ways to open COSEC Web

I. Double Click on COSEC Web desktop icon

OR

II. Enter Log in string in web browser


 Enter string in browser i.e. [Link]

 To open home page enter Login credentials i.e. Login Id and Password
Click Log
in

 Now, using single sign on feature user can directly login to the cosec homepage

 To open COSEC home page enter mentioned URL

Http://localhost/cosec/[Link]?userid=sa&password=112345

Please note, in string enter prefix 1 before entering password


 This will directly open COSEC Web home page

 This string can be used to redirect to COSEC web login from any other
application, using same credentials
In this way user can open COSEC Web page using single sign on
