I. RATIONALE:
The Department of Education (DepEd) will conduct its School-Year-End Rites in reference to
D.O. 09, s. 2023 which is the implementing guidelines in the conduct of the K to 12 Basic
Education Program End-of-School-Year (EOSY) Rites.
In line with this, Marciano Amancio Integrated School will organize its Commencement
Exercises (Graduation/ Moving Up Ceremonies and Recognition Day) on May 29, 2024. The
guidelines speculated in the DepEd order will be strictly followed in the planning and
implementation of the activities.
The EOSY ceremonies and rites play a significant role in recognizing learners who have
successfully completed the curriculum requirements and marking transitions to successive
stages of Education. Thus, it focuses into ensuring that all deserving learners will be
recognized and given meritorious awards.
II. PROPOSED ACTIVITY

Performance/Activity Indicator: Recognized learners with academic awards and other
special recognition awards during Graduation/ Moving Up Ceremonies and Recognition
Day for Non-graduating learners.

Activity Proposal
Marciano Amancio Integrated School will conduct its 4 th Commencement Exercises at 8
AM to 11 AM on May 29, 2024. Subsequently, recognition for non- graduating learners will
take place in the afternoon. Further, Baccalaureate Mass for the graduating and completing
class will be on the day prior to the rites.
As per mandate, there will be no extravagant expenses to be shouldered by parents
during the commencement exercises.
candidates for graduation will wear white dress.
candidates of kindergarten for completion will wear white dress.
candidates of Grade 10 for completion will wear uniform with Sablay.
For parent casual or formal attire will do.
Moreover, these school year end activities are one of the significant milestones in the life
of learners for they were able to harvest the fruits of their struggles and perseverance. Thus, in
promoting quality and equitable education for all, the school will provide awards and
recognition to deserving learners who imparted their best for this School Year.
The certificates, ribbons, medals and other materials needed for the stage and hall
preparation for the End of School Year Rites will be charged against School MOOE.
Objective:
A. Submit activity proposal in reference to School Year End Report and provide high-
quality education through the K to 12 Basic Education Program through awards and
recognition.
B. Update and implement guidelines for conducting the EOSY rites to reflect recent policy
changes and accommodate new challenges and developments in the education.

In reference to Deped Order No. 09, s. 2023 or An Order Updating the Multi-Year Implementing
Guidelines on the Conduct of the K to 12 Basic education Program End-of-School-Year Rites
which is to provide guidelines for both private and public schools, we hereby submit our
proposal for this year’s End of School Year activities.
The objectives of activity are:
A. Submit activity proposal in reference to School Year End Report and provide high-quality
education through awards and recognition in the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
B. Update and implement guidelines for conducting the EOSY rites to reflect recent policy
changes and accommodate new challenges and developments in the education.
The facilitators of these events are the 13 teachers and 1 School Head of Marciano Amancio
Integrated School
