by a length of 70 mm. Find the R.F. of the scale to read distances on the
map, correctly to a kilometer and long enough to measure 300 km. Also
mark on this scale length corresponding to 176 km and 204 km.
Q.2 Construct a scale to be used with a map; the scale of Diagonal which is 1 cm
= 500 m. The maximum length to be read is 5 km. Mark on the scale a
distance of 3.85 km.

scale to read metres and long enough to measure upto [Link] a
distance of 45m on the scale.
Q.4 A cube of 5cm side represents a tank of 8000 cubic meter volume. Find the
R.F. and construct a scale to measure up to 60m and mark on it a distance of
47 m. Indicate R.F. of the scal
Q.5 A 3.2 cm long line represents a length of 4 m . Extend this line to measure
lengths upto 25 metres and show on it units of metre and 5 metres. Show
