communication within educational institutions. By promoting respectful

Effective communication plays a key role in the success of educational
institutions as it forms the basis for strong relationships, enhances the learning
experience and promotes a positive and supportive environment for all
stakeholders. In educational settings where teachers, students, administrators
and parents interact regularly, establishing clear rules of communication is
essential to ensure effective cooperation, mutual understanding and respect.
“Etiquette is a set of rules and norms of behavior that govern the interaction of
people in society. In cultural and educational institutions, etiquette plays a
special role, as it helps to create a harmonious and respectful atmosphere. The
main importance of etiquette in such institutions is to ensure a comfortable and
effective learning experience, as well as to maintain cultural and professional
standards.” (1)
The rules of etiquette are an integral part of our lives, wherever we are, we
unconsciously accept the techniques of proper communication and try to
maintain the values of communication and interaction with the addressee. From
infancy, children are taught to treat the older generation with great respect, and
this trend continues to this day. So you can understand that the ability to express
your thoughts beautifully, provide information correctly and deeply express
your sincere feelings can benefit not only your state of mind, but more closely
connect the relationship between the interlocutor.
Let's look at an example of a school day and the application of etiquette rules
not only in behavior, but also in communication. From the first day of school
and from the first grade, young students are taught to behave correctly, for
example, the most common rule is not to talk during the educational process,
why is it the most important, since while extracting information, a student,
without understanding the essence, can be left behind his peers . The second
rule of etiquette is to correctly attract attention to ourselves, by raising our hand
we draw the speaker’s attention to ourselves and, with his permission, be it a
question or an additional thought, we express this or that idea, but the person
who shouted something muttered violates all the principles of etiquette, since
this person, by his actions, causes a negative attitude, interrupts the speaker and
distracts the listeners, thereby not allowing them to concentrate one hundred
percent and accept the essence of the information.
Based on this, etiquette in our behavior plays an important role between people,
but we should not forget about speech etiquette. When talking with adults or
with people who are older than us in rank, we will not allow rude and
disrespectful dialogue. Likewise, in the educational environment, the
boundaries of student and teacher, teacher and director are strictly observed,
even between the administration and parents there is a set of rules to which
society adheres.
“Relationships with a teacher can also mitigate or, conversely, increase
behavioral problems, such as disobedience, a tendency to deceive, and
aggression. Moreover, conflicts with the teacher can harm behavior more than
good relationships can improve it. That is, when faced with behavioral
problems, it is first of all important for a teacher to reduce conflict in relations
with a student.” (2)
An important aspect, as mentioned above, was that the correct ability to conduct
a dialogue can improve the relationship between the interlocutor. The main
thing in the process of educational activities is to maintain a strong relationship
with the teacher, and in the future this will help improve respect for oneself and
the teacher.
Respectful communication between teachers and students is critical to creating a
positive and effective learning environment. It builds a foundation of trust,
mutual understanding and respect, which is beneficial for both academic and
personal growth. There are several effective techniques for positive
relationships. The first is open and approachable behavior - the atmosphere of
the class/group should be spacious and friendly, so that students can freely
express their thoughts and give their point of view, so that it is clear that their
response and participation is important and is valued. The second is
encouragement and support - these actions can be considered group interaction,
which can increase confidence and give impetus to new discoveries. And the
third way to resolve conflicts is to treat everything calmly, trying first to
understand your opponent and find a compromise between him. And by using
active rules of ethics in communication, you can avoid incidents.
“If people want to establish effective contacts with loved ones and people
around them, then they should be able not only to speak, but also to listen.
When a person is interested in the topic of a conversation, he usually becomes
involved in it. He leans or turns towards the interlocutor to better understand
him. This is one of the techniques of active listening, when a person is
interested in hearing and understanding information.” (3)
Active listening is a fundamental and important skill for effective
communication. This involves full concentration and understanding of the
speaker's message, both in terms of the words spoken and the underlying
emotions and intentions. Active listening goes beyond just listening; it requires
concentration, empathy, and a sincere desire to understand the speaker's point of
view.
Note that active listening is a vital skill in effective communication. It promotes
understanding, builds trust, resolves conflicts and develops meaningful
relationships. By practicing active listening, we can create a supportive and
inclusive environment where the perspectives and experiences of others are
valued.

satisfaction with their own success in educational activities [Ionina, 2013].

learning is their positive attitude towards educational activities [ Birina , 2014].

their own educational activities” as components of successful study at a
university [Vasilieva, 2017]. » (4)
Maintaining accessible behavior is critical to promoting inclusion, equality and
effective communication. This involves creating an environment in which all
people feel valued and have equal opportunities to participate and interact. One
of the most key principles of maintaining approachable behavior is: Clear
communication. Use clear and concise language when communicating so that
your message is easily understood by everyone. Avoid using complex jargon,
acronyms, or technical terms without proper explanation. Consider the diverse
needs and experiences of your audience and adapt your communication style
accordingly.
“Academic performance is one of the key factors determining a student’s
educational opportunities and future career. Successful acquisition of
knowledge and achievement of high academic results are integral components
of a successful academic career and a guarantee of easy advancement to reach
new heights in the academic community. However, academic performance
matters not only at the individual level, but also affects the educational
environment and external assessments of the educational institution.” (5)
Academic progress means the development and growth of a student's
knowledge, skills and abilities in his or her educational journey. It covers
various aspects of learning, including intellectual development, acquisition of
subject knowledge, critical thinking abilities and academic achievement.
Academic progress is a multifaceted concept that includes continuous growth,
individualized learning, assessment, goal setting, a supportive environment, and
a growth mindset. Encouraging academic progress promotes meaningful
learning experiences and equips students with the knowledge, skills, and
abilities to succeed academically and in their future pursuits.
