A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING THE MUNICIPAL PEACE AND
ORDER COUNCIL (MPOC) PLAN OF ACTION 2023 OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
MAPUN, PROVINCE OF TAWI-TAWI FOR FULL IMPLEMENTATION OF VARIOUS
PROGRAMS, PLANS, AND ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS OTHER SPECIFICS
WHEREAS, the Local Government Code of 1991 mandates all Local Government Units (LGUs)
to maintain Peace and Order and preserve comfort and convenience for their respective
constitutions. Thus, the implementing rules and regulations of the Local Government Code of
1991 directs all LGUs to create/organize their Local Peace and Order Council (LPOC);
WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 773, series of 2009 further reiterates the creation of Local
Peace and Order Council and Providing therefore the prescribed compositions including the
participation of the private sectors;
WHEREAS, DILG-MC 2015-30 established standard and guidelines in the functions, roles and
responsibilities of the Local Peace and Order Council and its secretariat and further require
creation of Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Peace and Order and Public Safety
Planning;
WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. RAMBIE T. SADJIRIL duly seconded by Hon. CHARLES
T. LAO, be it;
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that a resolution is enacted to give full effect the herein
intent as.
