Be sure to have your child wear the yellow Apostles t-shirt and send his/her booster seat if you are not driving. Those who signed up to drive will be notified by e-mail of the children that will be in your car. I will also provide a paper copy. Thank you so much for driving! We plan to leave by 9 AM and return by 11:45 or so.

Well jiggle our way through the letter /j/ this week and finish with individual assessments as we prepare for the upcoming progress reports. Did your child greet you with a new way to say hello yet?

Other Classroom News


Our Bible lessons will teach us of the kindness King David showed to Mephibosheth (thats a mouthful, huh?). We will then meet the prophet Elijah and witness a showdown on Mount Carmel between God and a false god, named Baal. We truly do have an awesome God of power and love. This week in math will get a little nutty as we pattern and sort with nuts.

Our Marie Callenders Fun-Raising event takes place Tuesday. Stop by anytime between 7 AM and 10 PM to benefit our school with your purchase.
On Saturday, November 19, our church is hosting a

Free Family Movie Day

complete with arcade games! Pizza will be available for purchase ($3). Watch your childs folder this week for a list of movies that will be shown.
