Student Workflow User documentation
1. Accessing the System:
In the Chrome browser, when entering the URL, the student may encounter a "Your
connection is not private" or similar security warning.
The student should click on the "Advanced" option.
Then, click on the "Proceed to continue" button to continue to the login page.
2. Logging In:
Enter the username and password provided.
Click "Sign in" to access the interview system.
Upon successful authentication, you will be directed to the dashboard of the student
portal.
Upon logging in, students will see a pop-up window with important instructions for
attempting interviews.
Students should read the instructions thoroughly to understand the interview
process and any guidelines.
After reading, close the pop-up to proceed to the dashboard.
The dashboard displays a list of interviews that have been scheduled and are ready for
the student to attempt.
Each interview entry includes details such as the interview title and “Take Interview”
button.
3. Taking an Interview:
To begin an interview, the student should locate the desired interview in the list.
Click the "Take Interview" button next to the corresponding interview entry.
A prompt will appear asking for permission to access the student’s microphone.
The student should click “Allow” to enable the system to capture their spoken responses.
After granting microphone access, student should click on check box and click the “Start
Interview” button to begin with interview session.
This will initiate the interview, displaying the first question.
On this page, there are four buttons that students can use while answering questions:
Skip the Question:
If the student wishes to move on without answering a particular question, they can click
the "Skip the Question" button.
This allows them to skip to the next question without providing an answer.
Replay the Question:
If the student wants to hear the question again, they can click the "Replay the Question"
button.
This will replay the audio of the question, allowing the student to listen to it as many
times as needed for better understanding.
Start Answering:
To begin answering the question, the student should click the "Start Answering" button.
This will enable the microphone and allow the student to speak their answer.
After speaking their answer, the student should click the "Start Answering" button again
to stop recording.
Once the student has stopped recording their answer, the "Save" button will become
enabled.
Save Question and Move next:
After recording their answer, the student should click the "Save" button to save their
spoken response.
4. Answering the Questions:
In this system there are two types of questions one is theory and other is coding
questions.
To begin answering a question, the student should follow the appropriate steps based on
the type of question:
For Theory Questions:
Click the "Start Answering" button.
This will enable the microphone and allow the student to speak their answer.
After speaking their answer, click the "Start Answering" button again to stop recording.
Once the student has stopped recording their answer, the "Save" button will become
enabled.
Students can save their spoken answer by clicking the "Save" button.
For Coding Questions:
The microphone will not be enabled for coding questions.
Instead, students will find a code editor beside the question.
Students can type their answer directly into the editor.
After typing their code, they should click the "Save" button to save their answer.
There is no audio for coding questions, as the focus is on writing the code answer.
Type your code answer in the given editor and click save.
5. Submit your answers:
Once the student reaches the last question, the "Save" button will be replaced with a
"Submit" button.
If the student does not know the answer to a question, they can click the "Skip"
button to submit without answering the last question.
Upon successful submission, the system will display a confirmation message
indicating that the interview has been completed successfully.
This message confirms that the student's responses have been recorded and
submitted for evaluation.
