Prepare
1. IBM/AT compatible computer. (Need MS-DOS. WindowsNT/2000/Me If you don’t have real
MS-DOS : No guarantee.)
2. RS232C cable. The wiring is as follows.

3. AT-YUYU software V4.70
4. NC data files
Setting of computer NC data
5. Connect machine RS232C port to computer RS232C port.
6. Power on computer and start Windows or MS-DOS.
7. Start MS-DOS Prompt.
8. If your computer runs in Japanese MS-DOS, Type C:\ > U S ENTER , then computer will
run in English mode.
9. Start AT-YUYU software.

10. Press F9(TRANSFER XCHG) .

11. Set up it as follows.

PROTOCOL : FA
BAUDRATE : 9600
BIT :8
PARITY : NON
STOP :2
X_OFF(DC3) : 93H
AUX : NORM
NC-DC1 WAIT : NO
NCCODE XCHG : ISO
NC TERMINAT : LFCR2

12. Press F10 , Return to main screen.

13. Press F7(PATH AT) .

14. Select drive and folder that have saved NC files.

15. Press ENTER , Return to main screen.

Setting of SEICOS-2
16. Go to machine.
17. Press E-STOP.
18. Select MDI mode.
19. Press SET -> You will see SETTING DATA screen.

TV CHECK : 0 (OFF)
DATA IN DEVICE : 0 (RS232C)
MEMORY OPEN : 1 (ON)

OUT BAUD RATE : 9600

DC CODE : 0 (USE)

21. Press PARAM -> You will see PARAMETER screen.

22. Set NC Parameter same as follows.

25. If you want to load NC programs, do step25-1 ~ step25-8 .

25-1 Go to computer.
25-2. Press F1 (FREE TX) -> Select NC program file (Example : PROGRAM.TXT) by UP DOWN
key.

Example : load file name

NC programs : PROGRAM.TXT
NC parameter : PARAME.TXT
Save File Name Tool offset : TOOL.TXT
Work offset : WORK.TXT
Macro value : MACRO.TXT
Tool life : LIFE.TXT

All data without NC programs :

ALL.TXT

25-3. Press ENTER -> The computer shows Transmit data ([F:\PROGRAM.TXT] YUYU
machine) ? Y/any Until the next instructions (step 25-7), do not touch on the computer.
25-4. Go to machine.
25-5. Type - 9 9 9 9 INPUT (O-9999 on screen position A) -> SEICOS-2 start receiving.
25-6. Go to computer.
25-7. Press Y on computer -> Computer shows Transmitting data now... .
-> It start transfer NC all programs from computer to SEICOS-2
25-7 30. Go to Machine.
25-8. Finished , Press RESET

26. If you want to load NC parameter,. do step26-1 ~ step26-8.

26-1 Go to computer.
26-2. Press F1 (FREE TX) -> Select NC parameter file (Example : PARAME.TXT) by UP DOWN
key.
26-3. Press ENTER -> The computer shows Transmit data ([F:\PARAME.TXT] YUYU
machine) ? Y/any
Until the next instructions(step 25-7) , Do not touch on the computer.
26-4. Go to machine.
26-5. Type P A INPUT (PA on screen position A) -> SEICOS-2 start receiving.
26-6. Go to computer.
26-7. Press Y on computer -> Computer shows Transmitting data now... .
-> It start transfer NC parameter from computer to SEICOS-2
26-7 30. Go to Machine.
26-8. Finished , Press RESET

27. If you want to load all NC data (without NC program), do step27-1 ~ step27-8.
27-1 Go to computer.
27-2. Press F1 (FREE TX) -> Select all NC data file (Example : ALL.TXT) by UP DOWN key.
27-3. Press ENTER -> The computer shows Transmit data ([F:\ALL.TXT] YUYU machine)?
Y/any. Until the next instructions (step 25-7), do not touch on the computer.
27-4. Go to machine.
27-5. Type A L INPUT (PA on screen position A) -> SEICOS-2 start receiving.
27-6. Go to computer.
27-7. Press Y on computer -> Computer shows Transmitting data now... .
-> It start transfer all NC data from computer to SEICOS-2
27-7 30. Go to Machine.
27-8. Finished , Press RESET

*If the SEICOS-2 does not receive NC data, please check as follows .
29-1. Is the cable same as our recommendation?
29-2. Is the RS232C port (COM1) working on your computer ?
[Start -> Settings -> Control Panel ->System -> Device Manager -> Ports
-> Communication Port (COM1) -> Properties]
29-3. In the case that an error has come out halfway the communication, your computer
should go to real MS-DOS mode.
[Start -> Shut Down -> Restart in MS-DOS mode -> Move prompt to the folder
that have AT-YUMO software -> Start ATYUMO.exe ]
28. Go to computer.
29. Press F10 of your computer. -> END? Y/any -> Press Y .
