delivers! Cost effective, labour-reducing, strong and
design-enhancing…the POSI-STRUT system has it all!
Conventional floor joists and wood I’s just don’t stand up to
the POSI-STRUT truss system. Stamped from 20 gauge,
high-strength steel, the POSI-STRUT is a V-shaped metal
web member manufactured in 6 depths: 9-1/4", 11-1/4",
11-7/8", 12-3/4", 14" and 16". It offers complete interchange-
ability with 2x10 and 2x12 joists, and most engineered
lumber depths. The POSI-STRUT system is designed for
strength and maximum performance! But its lightweight
construction allows for easy handling and installation.
The POSI-STRUT truss system, with its open
web design, makes plumbing, electrical and
Suitable for any conventional framing application, the
mechanical service installation fast and easy!
POSI-STRUT truss system is ideal for floor joists and roof
rafters, allowing architects and engineers to enjoy clear
span flexibility and building design freedom.
The POSI-STRUT truss system’s open web configuration
There when you need it…the POSI-STRUT eliminates the need for cutting and drilling. Plumbing,
‘Trimmable end’ provides field cutting flexibility! electrical and mechanical services install quickly, saving
time and money.
There’s more. Benefits such as exceptional floor perform-
ance for call back peace of mind, the unique top chord bear-
ing detail, the wide nailing surface for easy floor sheathing,
price stability, shrinkage control and precision engineering,
make POSI-STRUT the right choice.
You’ll never come up short with the POSI-STRUT ‘Trimmable
End’. Each end can be engineered with a trimmable end,
allowing bearing location discrepancies to be remedied
on-site with simple trimming.
The POSI-STRUT Metal Web Truss System delivers all that
you would expect from a quality building component
product: precise engineering, outstanding performance,
one-hour, single-layer drywall fire-rating and compliance
with building codes.
