Vocabulary: related to time telling and food

Objectives/Lesson Aims:

A. Cognitive Objectives: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
1. Associate the hours with their corresponding spelling;
2. Identify the meals of the day;
3. Better understand a read text, due to the reading exercise;
4. Better express themselves using the new learned vocabulary;
5. Ask and answer to questions related to the topic;

B. Affective Objectives:

a. to create a warm atmosphere in order to offer the background for smooth easy
conversation between teacher and students;
b. to make students confident when speaking English;
c. to help students enjoy speaking a foreign language;
d. to give students an active role in the process of teaching/learning;
e. through competition and group work, to encourage everyone to participate at the
activity;
