1. Open Installation Parameter Screen
Read this first:
If "S/W Installation(Outside Japan)" was performed during this installation, skip
section 2 Parameter Setting and section 3 DASM (VDB or LCAM) [Option] of this
procedure.
1. set the backup MOD media into MOD Drive.
2. Select [Service tool] icon.
3. Select [Install...] button.
4. Type “operator” after Password and hit [Return] key.
2. Parameter Setting
1. Select [Save Info.] and save the System information in MOD media.
Note:
This saveinfo command is specially important for saving Advantage Windows
Software Key.
a. Type “y” after the following message.
[Link] you really want to save configuration files to the INFO MOD? [y/n] y
[Link] on “OK” after data are saved.
[Link] the MOD media from the MOD Drive.

CAUTION
Do not set the Image Filter to Available if the system satisfies the following
two conditions:
1. Host CPU = SS20 (Contour and Contour2)
2. Image Filter Board is not installted on SS20.
System error will occur.
1. Verify that the ordered Option Software Key FD set is shipped.

Note for Image Filter Option:
For Image Filter Option, option Floppy Disk is not needed.
System identifies the Image Filter without the option FD.
Note that there are two types of Image Filters: one is Hardware type, and the
other is Software type.
System recognizes the Image Filter type automatically if the Image Filter is set to
available.
2. Set the FD to Write Enable Postion.
3. Insert on Key FD into the FD Driver.
4. Select [Option Install].

7. Remove the Key FD and repeat this procedure for another FD if needed.
8. When all option software installations are done, click [Quit].

5. Mobile Setting
This step is performed only for Mobile Sites. Skip this step if this is not a mobile site.
1. Click [Mobile] button on graphic user interface.

2. Click [Make Site] button.
3. Enter "New Site" name. Ex: Site-1
4. Enter "New Location" number. Ex: 1
5. Click [OK] to register new site.
6. Click [Done] to end Mobile setting. More information:
a. To Switch Site click [Switch Site] then [OK] after entering new site.
[Link] Delete Site click [Delete Site] then [OK] after selecting the site which is going to be
deleted from pulldown menu.

6. Quit Option GUI and Reboot System
1. Select [Quit Install] to quit option installation GUI (graphic user interface).
Set the time zone according to your location.
To reboot the System perform these steps:

3. Select [System Shutdown] button.
4. Wait until "OK" prompt comes up on CRT.
It takes about 3 minutes until "OK" prompt comes up.
5. Type "boot -r" and hit [Return] Key.

Note: S/W Version 7.2 does not support DASM parameters backup function.

v. Record the Interpolation type which is set: Linear or Cubic.
vi. Click [Quit] twice to exit DASM configuration.
