Course Objectives:
This course deals with basic concepts, theories, philosophies, and paradigms of Artificial Intelligence and Business Management,
acquaints the learners with various tools, techniques, and methods used in Artificial Intelligence, discusses the new and upcoming
practices in managing business organization using AI, and examines the technical and organizational challenges for implementing
Artificial Intelligence in modern business organizations.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with business concepts and Artificial Intelligence.
Course Contents / Syllabus:
Module I: Introduction Weightage
History, Domains of Artificial Intelligence, Commercial Applications of AI, Support systems and AI, 15%
Agents of AI, AI Permeation and Applications, AI and Meta Learning.
Module II: AI and Big Data Weightage
Use of AI in IoT, IIoT, MiC2025, Physical Internet, Block Chain, Industry 4.0.AI Rules and Parados - 3 20%
Laws in CS (Moore law, Gilder law, Metcald Law), Moravec's Paradox.
Module III: AI and Economics /Business Weightage
Artificial Intelligence in Economics and Business Research, Rise of big data in business planning, 15%
Redefining management using AI, Reshaping business with AI
Module IV: Business Intelligence and MIS Weightage
Business intelligence and analytics – from big data to big impact, Community intelligence and social 20%
media services, Business intelligence in blogs, Measuring business proximity, Modeling for industry
intelligence, Big data and MIS – analytics in managing business, improving predictive analysis using
data mining.
Module V: AI and Business Functions Weightage
Big data and supply chain, AI in logistics, Data driven assortment and personalization, Peer to peer 15%
product sharing, AI and service operations, Service innovation in digital age, Consumer and object
experience in the Internet of things and digital data streams.
Module VI: Business organizations and AI in future Weightage
Use of AI in social sciences - ontology, epistemology, axiology, and methodology, powerful AI 15%
assistants, Automation and robotics.
