EMCEE TOGETHER: AVE MARIA!/Good evening everyone!/ I am Geoff Corcilles and I am Mary Cris
Capiones, and we are your toastmasters for today’s meaningful and life changing event. The Mabagon
Youth Camp 2023 with a theme “COMMIT TO THE LORD, WHATEVER YOU DO AND HE WILL ESTABLISH
YOUR PLAN”.
GEOFF: So partner are you ready to start?
CRIS: Yes I am!
GEOFF: How are you feeling right know?
CRIS: I feel bless and static!
GEOFF: Oh really?!
CRIS: Yes! Anyways so much of that.
To formally start we would like to ask everyone to please stand up for the opening prayer to be lead by
our very own chapel lay minister Brother Rustico Corpuz. And to be followed by singing of the national
anthem.
GEOFF: Help me welcome, our very own CPC-President, Sister Judy Marie Manatad for her Welcome
Talk,for her Welcome Talk Sister Judy Marie Manatad. Around of applause please!
CRIS: Thank you Sister Judy for your warm welcome.
GEOFF: And now its time for the unvailing of logos. May I call on stage Rev. Fr. Vicondy Von T. Evangelista
III to bless the logos. First is the Youth Logo
Fire - Fire symbolize warmth, illuminates refines, and purifies. Intertwined
Youth Picture - This represents the diversity among youth but are united in wMost Chaste Heart of
joseph- It is a heart set aflame with the love of God, with white lilies spread diagonally across it
Dove -peace, love, devotion, navigation, messages, grace, gentleness, purity, the Holy Spirit, the human
soul, and hope
Sun- The sun represents hope in the Christian faith, since it is a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus.
(Palay) – The palay represents the rich agricultural sector of the barangay. And also pays tribute the the
hardworking Mabagonian farmers who are thankful for the abundant harvest grace by Senior Santo
Niño.
Chapel – The sacred place where our fellow christian brothers and sisters are gathered to ador and
worship God.
Sr. Sto. Niño – Sr. Sto. Niño the patron of the Mabagon Chapel.
Auspice Maria – Auspice Maria symbol consists of intertwined letters A and M. It is a monogram of the
Virgin Mary. Which is latin for “ Under the protection of Mary”.orshipping and spreading the words of
God. Cross - Reminds us the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the redeeming benefits of his passion and
death.
Dove - peace, love, devotion, navigation, messages, grace, gentleness, purity, the Holy Spirit, the human
soul, and hope.
Sr. Sto. Niño - Sr. Sto. Niño the patron of the Mabagon Chapel.
Bible- the sacred book that contains the teaching and wisdom of God.
Cris: And for the chapel logo, we can see
CRIS: And now its time for the lighting of the torch.
Light is a symbol of auspiciousness, sanctity, spirituality, knowledge and abundance of wealth and
health. A torch does not speak, it manifests itself through its light. Light is the source of goodness and
prosperity, it accompanies transcendence, illumination and intelligence, let’s seek the divine
presence .......
