Make a script for the Restaurant reservation. Whenever possible, use the magic words.

Sequence of Activity Your Script

Greetings upon receiving the “Thank you for calling, this is the Garden of Eat’n. Nika
call from the customer. speaking.”

Taking the details: “May I know your reservation details, will this reservation be
- Reservation date made for breakfast, lunch, or dinner?”
- Name of guest “Great, thank you. What evening will you be joining us on and
- Number of covers at what time?”
- Seat preferences “Wonderful, would you kindly give me your name, please?”
- Any special guest/s “How many people will you need this reservation for?”
“Are there any seat preferences to be requested, Ma’am/Sir?”
“Absolutely! Will there be any special guests to attend your
party, Ma’am/Sir?”

Holding the telephone to “If you’ll give me a moment, I’ll be putting you on hold to
check the reservation book. check available slots for reservation. Thanks!”

Accepting or denying “Sorry to keep you waiting, I’m happy to say we have an
reservation. available slot. We will be expecting you on Friday evening at
7:30.”

Giving reminders to the guest “Amazing! There are a few restaurant policies to remember,
about the restaurant policy. you can kindly check our website later after this call.”

Bidding goodbye. “See you at 7:30 on Friday. Thank you so much, Ma’am/Sir. ”
