during this time
How do my learning goals support my commitment to continuing competency?
How does my learning relate to the competencies of my practice?
My learning goals are based off of my personal skills and abilities, understanding what I am expected to know
how to do in this profession. Wound care and catheterization are skills that I would like to improve upon and

confidence will increase the more I practice. Giving and receiving report is a skill I will do each and every shift
as a nurse and even now as a nursing student, so ensuring I am confident when doing this is essential.
Evaluation of changes/outcomes to my practice
What did I learn?
What impact has my Learning Plan had on my practice?
I believe this Learning Plan will have a beneficial and positive effect on my
practice as having concrete goals to strive to meet is easier than having a vague
idea of what I want to achieve. Understanding how each of my goals will benefit
me, whether it be by increasing my overall confidence in performing these skills,
or by gaining the practice on real patients which will solidify my current
knowledge. I will be putting in a great deal of practice by myself, with peers in You can print your Learning Plan for your
