PROJECT TITLE

DESIGN OF PARK AND PLAYGROUND TOILET FACILITY, WITH COMPUTATION OF THE


CAPACITY OF WATER TANK.

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a newly constructed parks and playgrounds (with a full capacity of 5,000 people) in Barangay Labangon, is in need
of a Toilet Facility for both Male and Female park users including for Persons with Disabilities.

PART 1: Drawing
1. Design a Toilet Facility using Table 4-1 Minimum Plumbing Facilities in the National Plumbing Code of the
Philippines.
2. Compute the total required:
For Male : Water Closets, Urinals, and Lavatories
For Female: Water Closets and Lavatories
For PWD: Provide 1 common PWD Toilet using the Cebu City Standard of 2m x 2m, with Urinal, Water
Closet and Lavatory.
3. Provide a layout of the toilet facility using the computed minimum plumbing facilities. Use any convenient
scale that can fit inside your A3 Paper.

PART 2: Computation of Water Tank Required

1. Compute the total WSFU for all the plumbing fixtures provided on plan with the additional of 2 hose bibbs (1
for Male Toilet and 1 for Female Toilet).
2. Use the WSFU Method and the attached tables in computing the Water Tank Capacity and 1 hour as the S
value.
3. Provide all computation at the back of your A3 Paper.
