1. Indicated are Notional hours (Notional hours = Contact hours+Assignments+Self driven activities+Field trips)
Notional hours per term = 520 hrs (1 term = 13 weeks; 1 week = 40 hrs therefore; I term = 40 x 13 hrs = 520 hours)
2. Contact hours = 75% of the Notional hours and should be used for timetabling)
3. Number of weeks =13 less 2 weeks end of term assessment and 1 week CAT = 10 weeks @40 hours=400 total contact hours.
(Note that the 3 weeks is part of notional hours.)
