COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course includes the study of the history, philosophy, and objectives/purposes. Imprisonment and the development of prisons. It also includes the study of institutional agencies in the Philippines
including BJMP which oversees city and municipal jails, and provincial jails. Also, the bureau of corrections and its institution in terms of their structure, management, standards, programs, and services.
It also includes the study of the laws creating these agencies. The implementation punishment and the application of principle of correction
