I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
● understand the concept of OHS in computer system servicing;
● participate actively in every activity of the lesson;
● value the importance of OHS in a working environment.

2. Motivation
ACTIVITY 1: WHO I AM
Instruction: (5 minutes)
The teacher will divide the class into (7) groups. Each group will choose one
representative, they’ll be given 5 minutes to guess what the answer of the given
statement and they need to explain their answer.
A planned system of working to prevent illness and injury where you work by recognizing
and identifying hazard and risks.

ACTIVITY 2. FIND MY PAIR
Instruction: (5 minutes)
In the same group, the teacher will choose (7) seven students in different groups,
I will give specific sample of OHS in every students. They need to find the correct
definition that I post in the screen.
1) Always group or discharge yourself remove accessories before touching any parts of
the computer
2) Always power off the computer after working on it. The omit will cause damage to its
system.
3) Do not work alone so that there is someone who can take care of you in case of
emergency.
4) Clean the area before and after using it to maintain sanitation and to prevent
accidents caused by scattered wastes.
5) Do not eat inside the computer laboratory. Crumbs from foods may enter in small
space and may result conflict and damages.
6) Be discipline and do not execute playful techniques or conducts in computer
laboratory to prevent accident, COM-LAB is not a playground.
7) Read and follow instruction in the manual carefully to be systematic and certain.

ACTIVITY 3:
Instruction: In the same group, the teacher will give one question and they will going to
discuss and explain it within they’re group. After 2 minutes they’ll need to report it to the class.

each group a specific OHS and they will create a role-play out of it.

D. Generalization
● What is/are the importance of OHS to the employee’s and working environment?
● What happen to the workplace and to the employee’s if OHS were not implemented?
IV. EVALUATION
Direction: In a 1 whole sheet of paper, explain each questions.
1) Why do we need to apply OHS in a working environment? (10 points)
2) Why OHS is/ are important? Why? (10 points)
V. ASSIGNMENT
Research five benefits of OHS in a working environment. Write your answer in a 1
whole sheet of paper.
