This manual is intended for those who already have basic crochet skills. It gives the crochet pattern for
the toy but does ot teach how to crochet. The size of the toy depends on the yarn chosen and crochet
gauge/tension (please, try to follow my recommendations and use recommended yarn, because even if
you will choose the yarn with required parameters finished toy can turn out a different size).

Materials
• Fingering/Light Fingering weight yarn with the colors that you want to use (app. 560-600 m/100 g)
• 1 mm steel crochet hook
• Sewing threads and needle and bead needle
• Filler
• Clasp for a brooch (you can make a keychain or magnet)
• Halfbeads for eyes 5 mm
• Wire for wings, legs and tail
• Beads for decoration (optionally)
• Acrylic paints for tinting
• Glue Moment Crystal and simple super glue.
Size 10 - 12 cm height
The size of the toy depends on the yarn you choose.
Abbreviations (US terms)
MR = magic ring R = round
ch = chain slst = slip stitch
dc = double crochet sc = single crochet
dec = decrease (2 sc together) st(s) = stitch(es)
inc = increase (2 sc in one st) tr = triple crochet
hdc = half double crochet FLO = front loop only

BODY
Tail
First we crochet the fin on the tail, work in rows
Row 1. BLO Ch 6, slst in second st from hook, 2 slst, 2 sc,
ch 1, turn (5 sts)
Row 2. BLO 2 sc, ch 6, slst in second st from hook, 4 slst,
2 sc, ch 1, turn (7 sts)
Row 3. BLO 2 sc, ch 4, slst in second st from hook, 2 slst,
2 sc, ch 1, turn
Turn the fin and crochet along the ridges of the fin: 3 sc,
ch 1, turn (3 sts)

Then work the tail of 3 sc of fin, work in round
R1. sc FlO in each of next 3 sts, then work in other CH
side 3 sts of fin, sc in rem loop 3 sts (6 sts)

Insert wire into the tail.
The ends of the wire will need to be bent so that they do
not come out of the body and do not prick.

First we crochet the crown, work in rows:

EDGING OF WINGS:
Gradually hiding all the tails of yarn, so that they do not get out of our crochet.
I crochet together with the wire
RIGHT WING
Attach yarn in first st of wing and work as follows:
Row 1. 10 sc across side (in ridge only), 1 inc in last st, 14 sc down the edge of wing.
Row 2. ch 3, slst in second st from hook, 1 slst, 26 sc and 3 sc in first row of wing.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing later.

LEFT WING
Attach yarn in 15th st of last row of wing and work as follows:
Row 1. ch 3, slst in second st from hook, 1 slst, 14 sc up the edge of wing, 1 inc in last st, then 10 sc across
side (in ridge only) and 3 sc in first row of wing, ch 1, turn.
Row 1. 29 sc. Fasten off.

FOREPAW (make 2)

Wrap the wire with yarn, form the fingers

Secure the yarn with glue, leaving a tail 15-20 cm long

Sew on the head to the body

Sew on the paws with 2-3 stitches
Then, apply a little glue at the base, and wrap the rest of the thread around the beginning of the paw

Make more stitches and hide yarn
