As many of you may know, Crown Castle sent a letter to residents regarding an
application to install a “small wireless facility.” A “small wireless facility” is a low- [Link]
powered, compact device used to provide wireless cellular service. Naturally, some
people may have questions or want clarification on how this could affect them.
The Redwood Shores Community Association has requested Crown Castle to
meet and address any concerns or questions from the community. Join us with
your questions for the meeting scheduled on April 17th at 6:30 PM–7:45 PM
at the Redwood Shores Library. Hope to see you there!
Redwood Life Update
The City-hired consultant Raimi & Associates and their sub-consultant team are
now on board. They have been busy gathering and reviewing information and
data on the site to prepare the environmental sensitivity analyses and develop a
community engagement program that ensures all voices are heard. To this end,
the consultant is developing a new Redwood Life project website that will be
launched in early April. The new site will provide a comprehensive project
overview, detail the overall schedule, and identify community engagement and
input opportunities. Once the site goes live, City staff will coordinate notification Russel, 2

longer at 4 minutes and 30 sec, and the path of totality will be a little bit
wider. Moreover, the path takes it over more cities and densely populated
areas than in 2017—crisscrossing the continental United States from Texas
in the South to New York and the North East. Don’t fret if you cannot
travel to these areas—every contiguous US state will experience at least a
partial solar eclipse, so just make sure that you have the right type of eye
protection in hand. Considering that the next total solar eclipse that will
