Super Store - Online Shop using Android application
ABSTRACT
Online Super Store shopping becomes more and more popular in recent
years. To facilitate the purchase process, many online stores provide a shopping
recommendation system for their consumers. So far, the generic recommendation
systems mainly consider preferences of a consumer based on his/her purchase
histories. Nevertheless, it is noted that there is nothing to do with the right timing
to purchase a product from the view point of product replenishment or economic
purchasing. Hence, we develop a new proposed scheme especially for online
shopping by incorporating two additional considerations, i.e., product vendor sales
and customer purchase. We believe that such a new scheme should be able to
provide a better recommendation list which fit consumer desires, needs, and budget
considerations and finally boost transactions.

Existing Solution:
The store items runs a computerized inventory control system to keep track
of the amount of grocery items that is available and help reduce costs,
monitor expired product and par levels. It keeps records of when product are
received, dispensed, recalled, or sent for waste.
Store items are purchased from a wholesaler, each of which has a unique
system for ordering and in some situations have the ability to establish a
perpetual inventory that automatically maintains set quantities of commonly
used store things. The store shopping keeps adequate inventory that fulfils
patient needs with minimizing unnecessary stock.
The store shopping maintains the grocery record as a paper-based record,
alongside the grocery procedures.
The store shopping maintains orders by collecting customers’/buyers’
purchases orders and issues an order form to new customers.
The store shopping has a supermarket unit which offers a wide range of Fast
Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) which includes but not limited to
cosmetics, household equipment, water, drinks and beverages, foods,
confectionaries, stationaries etc.
The grocery shopping has sales and distribution unit where grocery products,
household things and daily fresh fruits vegetables, tea snacks items reagents
and other related products are sold and distributed.
DISADVANTAGES
The process of the super online shopping management of both daily things,
customers/vendors, and other services is very stressful and time consuming.
Problems associated with the existing system are as follows:
Inadequate Record Keeping and purchase ordering: The process of
collecting customers’/patients’ purchases order is very tedious. The record
keeping system is very poor. Losses of vital records have been reported in
the past and besides, protecting the file system from unauthorized access is a
problem that has defied solution.
Delay in conveying vital information: Unnecessary time is wasted
conveying information through the ladder of authority. Management at times
seeks to get a copy of the customer’s order form and this may take a lot of
time to obtain it.
Due to problems above, there has been reduction in production flow.
There have been issues publicizing the online with its wide range of
online shopping services to the public, leading to low revenue and loss of
value for the grocery.
Too much work load has been on the employees as well.
Urgent products cannot be order online as we know that, we cannot
predict illness so we cannot order products before illness. One major
disadvantage is that it takes 2-3 days in delivery.
Proposed Solution:
From the problems listed in the existing system, the implementation of the
proposed system shall focus on
Both the vendors and customer having access to the proposed system at any
time.
Ensuring effective publicity of grocery products and services in the grocery.
Reducing the employees and grocery items workload by creating an easy avenue
for communication between customer and grocery.
Improving the efficiency of the system by ensuring effective monitoring of
services and activities.
Providing accuracy and security to all the information of a customer, thereby
leading to no unnecessary losses.
Providing an information retrieval system for data stored.
In the proposed system we tried to provide the high security than the existing
system.
Try to make the rural people to feel to fill the description about their products.
We will provide friendlier environment than the existing one.
In this system we have a multi-vendor grocery shops available in the application.
We can buy some product easily will get all type of product.
It has connecting a multi shops so any time and all product available in store.

Module Description:
Admin
Login
In login module the admin can login to the application with the master login
details. Admin can maintain the all user details.
View Vendor
Admin can add the grocery shop using the personal shop details like grocery
name, address, phone number, etc. then admin will view.
Approve Vendor
Once grocery will added the details admin will check all grocery details then
admin will approve the added grocery. Once admin will approve after grocery
using their credentials.
View registered user
User once registered their profile admin will check the user details and view
who are all registered user.
Delete abuse Feedbacks
Admin will check all feedbacks from the user side from that some of
feedbacks is undesirable contents means they are deleted from the feedback.

Another main function of our proposed system is registration, in order to
register with the unique application details such as name; password, email,
place and time are required.
Login
The main activities in the application are the user login page for user. The
other modules are followed by this login page. This module records only user
and password of the user. .
Manage wallet balance
User can add the amount for a billing process. It will easily payable for a
product. User can add amount if user purchase the product the amount will payable
from the wallet.
Search product
User will search the product using product name, locality, category, product
details.
View product details
Grocery will added all product details then user will search product and view
selected product details.
Add cart
User can search the product and choose product to purchase without actually
completing the payment. It has update the quantity of product and if remove some
of item.
Add/ update shipping address
A shipping address is an address where you will send the order. The billing
address is the address connected to the user's payment method. Billing and
shipping addresses are often the same but not always.
Place order
User once choose the product and add to be cart then get placed purchase
product.
View order status
User once order the product then it will place order for corresponding address
and user will check their status for ordered product like order placed, shipped,
delivered.
Give feedback
User will give the feedback of experience of e – grocery and their helpful,
unhelpful of experience.

Register
Another main function of our proposed system is registration, in order to

Add Product
Grocery will add all about of product from available of shop. It will store
product name, locality, and their quantity, price of product, which category to
added a product and enter their locality based shipping charges.
Manage product
Grocery can manage the product from the overall e – grocery it contains a
product stock, sales, expenses and available of stocks, users orders.
Manage orders
Grocery can manage the order of users details from all e- grocery shops how
many orders are shipped, calculate the pending orders and maintain the delivered
also.
Upload orders status
Grocery, once get the ordered from the user. Grocery can manage from end
to end once get order grocery upload the status order placed like they doing next
process added the status like product is shipped, on progress, delivered and cancel
the orders.
CONCLUSIONS
There is a clear association of online buying of grocery products with super
market. This study help seller and buyer in identifying the advantages and
disadvantages of online buying/selling of products and grocery products and this
paper also promote digital India concept as buyers will buy more on internet
because they are getting discounts and it also saves time. From this study, after
reading disadvantages the seller of products and grocery products will also get an
opportunity to make proper changes so that they will be able to get more sell.
The implementation of online grocery based on purchase of product will
decrease the prescription and alterations and thus provide safety and improve the
quality of service provided to the customer or patient. Therefore, we can conclude
that online platform will be used for customers and provide a platform for grocery
retailers. Online grocery benefits a customer’s lifestyle in many ways.
FUTURE SCOPE
As this study is new so there will be lots of research needed in this field that
will help sellers and buyers of products and grocery products.
We can develop the project for ios app. In general, today’s businesses must
always strive to create the next best thing that consumers will want because
consumers continue to desire their products, services etc. to continuously be better,
faster, and cheaper. In this world of new technology, businesses need to
accommodate to the new types of consumer needs and trends because it will prove
to be vital to their business’ success and survival.
