Definition:

A fantasy is a story about imagined, fantastical people or creatures and places that are not based on
reality. There is often a battle between evil and good in the imaginary world.
Fantasy stories often feature:

• a portal between a real and an imagined place;

• a main character(s) going on a quest or search;

lots of magical, unreal and often menacing characters and creatures;

• unfamiliar, imaginary settings with lots of ambitious adjectives;

Characters Setting Plot
