A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF THE NEW CONSTITUTION AND


BYLAWS OF THE SUPREME STUDENT GOVERNMENT OF NORTHERN MINDANAO
COLLEGES BASIC EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
THIRD REGULAR SESSION
HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 3
Series of 2023-2024

Whereas, the Supreme Student Government (SSG) shall be the highest governing student body in
terms of student power.
Whereas, the Northern Mindanao Colleges Student Council - House of Representatives (NMCSC –
HoR) is the highest student legislative body in the Deen Campus.
Whereas, the Supreme Student Government (SSG) serves as the voice of the students, fostering
leadership, unity, and cooperation among the student body;
Whereas, it is acknowledged that there is currently no official constitution and bylaws for the SSG of
Northern Mindanao Colleges Basic Education Department;
Whereas, recognizing the need for an updated and relevant guiding document, a new constitution
and bylaws for the SSG of Northern Mindanao Colleges Basic Education Department have been
drafted;
Whereas, the proposed constitution and bylaws have undergone thorough review and consideration
by the SSG executive officers, Dean of Student Affairs and Services, and year level representatives.
Whereas, it is imperative to establish an official constitution and bylaws as Northern Mindanao
Colleges Basic Education Department is the only school in Cabadbaran without such governing
documents.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the House of Representatives


upon the motion of Grade 12 Representative Hon. Ariel II. B. Gabisan and duly seconded by
Grade 11 Representative Hon. Jvann Parativo and all members of the House of Representatives to
recommend the approval of the new constitution and bylaws, as attached herewith.
It was further resolved that the House of Representatives has concurred that House Resolution No. 3
Series of 2023-2024 has been duly unanimously approved.
