A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING MS. KARYLLE T. DUMANON, MR. MARK
ANTHONY S. SALO, AND MRS. JOVELYN J. VILLAMOR-RELACION AS
POTENTIAL SSG ADVISERS FOR S.Y. 2023-2024
FIRST REGULAR SESSION
HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 1
Series of 2023-2024
Whereas, the Supreme Student Government (SSG) shall be the highest governing
student body in terms of student power.
Whereas, the Northern Mindanao Colleges Student Council-House of Representatives
(NMCSC – HoR) is the highest student legislative body in the Deen Campus.
Whereas, pursuant to Article XIII, Section 1 of the Constitution and By-Laws of the
Supreme Student Government (SSG), the SSG Adviser shall be designated by the
School Head from among the three (3) teacher-nominees submitted by the newly-
elected SSG officers through a resolution;
Whereas, it is essential to select qualified individuals with good moral character and
reputation within the school and community to serve as SSG Advisers;
Whereas, the SSG officers have suggested that Ms. Karylle T. Dumanon, Mr. Mark
Anthony S. Salo, and Mrs. Jovelyn J. Villamor-Relacion be considered for the post of
SSG Adviser;
Whereas, Ms. Karylle T. Dumanon, Mr. Mark Anthony S. Salo, and Mrs. Jovelyn J.
Villamor-Relacion possess the necessary qualifications and demonstrate the
competence, ability, and willingness to carry out the duties of an SSG Adviser;
Whereas, the Advisorship in the SSG shall be equivalent to one teaching load as stated
in DepED Order No. 43, s. 2002;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the House of
Representatives upon the motion of Grade 12 Representative Hon. Ariel II. B.
Gabisan and duly seconded by Grade 11 Representative Hon. Jvann Parativo and
all members of the House of Representatives, to nominate Ms. Karylle T. Dumanon, Mr.
Mark Anthony S. Salo, and Mrs. Jovelyn J. Villamor-Relacion as potential SSG
Advisers, subject to the final selection by the School Head.
Further, it is hereby RESOLVED that this resolution be forwarded to the School Head
for review and appropriate action.
It was further resolved that the House of Representatives has concurred that House
Resolution No. 1 Series of 2023-2024 has been duly unanimously approved.
