Empty Nest

1. The goal of raising children is for them to leave home as mature adults ready to start their own families. This empty nest time should be used to focus on one's spouse through fulfilling marital duties and avoiding arguments. 2. With more free time, parents should focus on ministry work like teaching younger women and the word of God, as the example of Anna in the Bible shows. 3. God provides for his people as they age, so empty nesters can cast their cares on him through prayer and have his peace.
