The Trinity’s love language / 3

Introduction

It took 28 years to realize how much God loved me, even though I did not know it. I have

experienced it throughout my entire life. I got saved over 28 years ago; I was 12 years old when

my biological mother died. When I lost the only living family member I knew, the one who

knew the history of my past and those before me, she poured into me everything she had,

including her love for me, my mother gave me more love than most children. My mother’s love

language was quality time, showing affection on daily basis, saying “I love you” and she was

hands on mother, and she was my foundation. The Trinity has five love languages to humanity

throughout the bible, but most people do not realize how much God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit loves

humanity and all creation. The five love languages are the following: Quality Time, Receiving

Gifts, Acts of Service, Words of Affirmation, and Physical touch. We all experience hardship

throughout our lives, life lessons that will challenge our beliefs and question our philosophy. In

that journey, we learn to cope and adapt to changes in behavior and the environment around us.

As long as humanity is living and breathing, we will always be a service to others. God intended

us to have relationships with each other, he created us with purpose and the capacity to learn,

love, help and so much more.

Let us go back to the basics of when he created us,

According to Genesis 2:21-24 King James Version

21
And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took

one of his ribs and closed the flesh instead thereof.

The Trinity’s love language / 4

22
And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought

her unto the man.

23
And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be

called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife:

and they shall be one flesh.

When God created Adam and Eve, they became one flesh, this would symbolize the first

marriage in the bible. God showed us he loved us, and created humanity for love, companionship

and to work together. For a long time in my own life, I didn’t know If I was capable to love. My

love and kindness often got taken advantage of and love is a gift. Once you give it, you cannot

take it back, and that is what God did for creation, even after Adam and Eve sinned.

According to the King James Version Genesis 3:1-6 Now the serpent was more cunning

than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman,

“Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”2 And the woman

said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of

the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall

you touch it, lest you die.’ ”4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely

die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will

be like God, knowing good and evil.”6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for

food, that it was [a]pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of

its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

When Adam and Eve ate the fruit of good and evil, their eyes were opened. They had been open

to seeing things they were not ready to see. God gave humanity free will and the choice to
The Trinity’s love language / 5

choose. Adam and Eve sinned God still loved them both so much, even when they lost their

home – the garden.

There are times in my own life I have lost many things, my home, my job, my career,

suffering health challenges and personal issues. Even after I got saved by accepting Jesus in my

heart at 12 years old, I still did not follow directions well and I was stubborn.

There is a season for all things, according to Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

1
There is a time for everything. There’s a time for everything that is done on earth.
2
There is a time to be born. And there’s a time to die.

There is a time to plant. And there’s a time to pull up what is planted.

3
There is a time to kill. And there’s a time to heal.

There is a time to tear down. And there’s a time to build up.

4
There is a time to weep. And there’s a time to laugh.

There is a time to be sad. And there’s a time to dance.

5
There is a time to scatter stones. And there’s a time to gather them.

There is a time to embrace someone. And there’s a time not to embrace.

6
There is a time to search. And there’s a time to stop searching.

There is a time to keep. And there’s a time to throw away.

7
There is a time to tear. And there’s a time to mend.

There is a time to be silent. And there’s a time to speak.

8
There is a time to love. And there’s a time to hate.

There is a time for war. And there’s a time for peace.

The Trinity’s love language / 6

We all go through stuff and learning to let go and let God do his job and not get in his way. God

showed me his love by providing for my life and all areas of my life, and I lack in nothing. The

Acts of Service; God even gave his only son for humanity to be saved.

According to John 3:16 John 3:16 (New International Reader's Version)

16
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in

him will not die but will have eternal life.

I always say” If you want to know God, its best you read the bible yourself and pray for

understanding the word and do not go based on what someone else has said or taught you.

John 14:6 – “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.

There was a time in my life, when I watched my mom pray for Food, because she was short on

finances. My mom told me the story, she asked God to deliver her some food, she was specific

on what she needed “God heard her prayer, and he provided it, someone left two bags full of

groceries at the door of our apartment and my mother didn’t know who. I’m glad the person

obeyed God and helped my mother and I. (Philippians 4:19)

God gave my mother and I quality time, he listened to my mother through different

prayer request, even the ones about myself and my mother prayed for me. The Holy Spirit, Jesus

and God spends time with us throughout our entire lives, even when we think “God is not there”,

but he is there regardless of circumstances.

According to "The Bible tells us John 14:26 But the father will send the Friend in my name to

help you. The Friend is the Holy Spirit. He will teach you all things. He will remind you of

everything I have said to you". The holy spirit is your friend, he will remind you of everything

and is a helper to help you and even in your weakness, the Holy Spirit still will help you if you

want it”. In the same way, the Holy Spirit helps us when we are weak. We don’t know what we
The Trinity’s love language / 7

should pray for. But the Spirit himself prays for us. He prays through groans too deep for

words.” (Romans 8:26) There were times in my own life, I felt alone, and lost and I called upon

the Holy Spirit to show me what was I was not seeing, and he revealed it to me. All I had to do is

ask, God knows what we need and the desires of our hearts, but he still wants us to ask. Mark

11:24 - Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye

receive them, and ye shall have them.

According to Matthew 7:7-11

7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened

unto you:
8
For every one that asked receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that

knocketh it shall be opened.

9
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more

shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Receiving Gifts from Father God, God gives gifts throughout your life and there are

different gifts of the holy spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 (NIV) 12 Now about the gifts of

the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. 2 You know that

when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute

idols. 3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God

says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
The Trinity’s love language / 8

4
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are

different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but

in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

7
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one

there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of

knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another

gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another

prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds

of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of

one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

All these gifts help humanity by strengthening both your spirit and the church, the church

is not a building, it’s the people” And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon

this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”.

Matthew 16:18 KJV God also gave us the gift of life, the right to choose, he loves us by

giving humanity “free will”. John 10:10 “10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and

destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” and this bible verse

goes hand in hand with Jeremiah 29:11 NVJ 11 For I know the plans I have for you,”

declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and

a future.

God has a plan for your life with hope and a future, meaning anything is possible and

nothing is impossible to God. You can be anything and do anything, if you just follow God’s

plan for your life it will be very fulfilling and answering your purpose (Call) is no easy thing, but

it is very rewarding, only you can answer your purpose, it is a decision only you can make for
The Trinity’s love language / 9

yourself and no one can make the decision for you. Jesus shows love also through affirmation-

God’s word, the word of God is spiritual law, and it helps humanity become successful, many

things must be dealt in the spirit first before it becomes it shows its presence in the physical

realm.

Matthew 5:16
16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good

deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

God is saying be yourself, let your light shine before others and honor your father in

heaven.

Matthew 19:26, NIV: Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but

with God all things are possible. With God nothing is impossible, sometimes people

make it seem like their problems are bigger than God; no problem is bigger than God. Let

your light shine before others, the goodness in you shines, and your good deeds and

honor your father in heaven. Matthew 19:26, NIV: Jesus looked at them and said, 'With

man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. No problem is bigger than

God. What is faith? “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you

will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be

impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20-21). What is faith? Hebrews 11:1. Now faith is the

assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. How can you please

God? Hebrews 11:6 And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would

draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

The trinity uses physical touch – When Jesus died on the cross, he died for our sins

“Isaiah 53:44 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him
The Trinity’s love language / 10

punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted”. Jesus had to physically die to save

humanity – so we can have salvation and freedom. God loved us so much Jesus was

willing to die for you and the world.

My mother Claudia Jonah has been very patient with me regardless of all the craziness I

put her through, and she still loves me regardless of mistakes, just like the Trinity. Galatians

5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. The fruits of the spirit, Love is in

there. Some people ask what is Love? 1 Corinthians 13:4–8 Love is patient and kind; love does

not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or

resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love is kind, it does not

count wrongdoing, this is love and most of all love is the greatest emotion known to humanity.

Conclusion

Love changes people and the circumstances in someone's life, love is physical, emotional,

mental, and spiritual. We all show love differently but God’s love language to humanity is still

the same, the Trinity is still the same, the word is the same and God is consistent and never

changes. Humanity is always changing, adapting, evolving, and learning to love through the way

God loves us.
