How do you plan to implement this lesson and integrate the technology? Check all that apply:
X Teacher-led: There is no student voice and choice in the activities. Students are guided by the
teacher's direction and expectations. Learning activities are assigned to the
student and mostly practice based.
Student-Led: Students are given voice and choice in the activities. They may select the topic
of learning and/or determine the tool they will use to meet the learning goal. The
teacher facilitates the learning as the students direct their own learning processes.
☐ Problem-based (Real world problems) and/or Publishable: Students are solving problems
and completing projects to demonstrate their learning. Additionally, the projects can be shared
outside of the classroom. (Note: This objective could be reached by displaying the project on the
school’s morning newscast, posting the project to the classroom blog, presenting it to another
class, or publishing it via an outside source.)
Lesson idea implementation: Students will use the Wakelet and navigate through the lesson while being
able to ask questions and get help navigating through the lesson. The lesson is student-led, and the students
will complete various activities to help their understanding of goods and services. At the end of the lesson,

there is a Blooklet assessment to test their knowledge. Teacher will walk around the room and manage to
make sure kids have understanding and are not distracted. Timers will be set for each activity to keep things
moving smoothly.
Managing student learning: Some students may have behavioral issues due to the lesson being
strictly technological. To allow students to check their progress and remain on task, I will set timers
for which each activity should be completed by. A heads up will be given before timer goes off.
Checking in on each step while making sure the children understand and are on task will help
prevent behavioral problems.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL): Engagement will be represented within the engaging activities
themselves. Representation/expression will be displayed in the word cloud and help promote
creativity. Action will be tested by the assessment at the end.
Reflective Practice: I believe this is more engaging than the traditional pen and paper assignments
you see in classical classrooms. I am most excited for the word cloud implementation because this
could be posted around the classroom and used for future review.
