RESOLUTION NO. 2023-01

A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF MS. RICHEL JON B.


BARRERA AS SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN SECRETARY OF BARANGAY
BANBANAN MIAGAO, ILOILO

WHEREAS, Section 7 of Republic Act No. 10742 also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan
Reform Act of 2015 states that the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson, with the concurrence
of the Sangguniang Kabataan Members, has the power to appoint among the members of the
Katipunan ng Kabataan a secretary and treasurer;

WHEREAS, among the Katipunan ng Kabataan members of Barangay Banbanan, the


Chairman recommended Ms. Richel Jon B. Barrera for the position of SK Secretary after due
consideration of her qualifications and finding her to possess the necessary skills for a
Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary as provided under Section 10 of Republic Act 10742;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion made by SK Kagawad Isaiah Juncyl B. Bedaño and duly
seconded by SK Kagawad Christian M. Facon;
BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Kabataan to
approve the appointment of Ms. Richel Jon B. Barrera as Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary of
Barangay Banbanan Miagao, Iloilo;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to Ms. Richel Jon B. Barrera, to
the DILG Municipal Local Government Operations Office, the Local Youth Development
Office of Miagao, Iloilo, and other offices for their information and record;
