Analyst Shimadzu Bug Fix Service Pack Release Notes

Version 2.1

General
The Analyst™ Shimadzu Bug Fix software fixes the following bugs in Analyst 1.1:

§ Contact closures on Shimadzu SCL10Avp controller can only be closed one at a

time. Setting two contact closures at the same time cannot be done by the
controller.
§ Entering 0.0 minutes in the method editor for step 1 causes the Shimadzu driver in
Analyst to go to the fault state.
§ Contact closures on the back of the SCL-10Avp controller are not being
maintained between samples (contacts are being reset).
§ Shimadzu method editor does not show time to 2 decimal places in the pump step
table (i.e., 0.01 minute resolution).
§ Shimadzu method editor does not automatically calculate the remaining solvent
ratio to make up 100%.
§ Pump flow spikes at the beginning of a sample.
§ Download time is now reduced. If the method parameters have not been changed
between samples, no parameters will be downloaded to the SCL-10Avp.

The Shimadzu Bug Fix 2.1 requires 3 MB of disk space to install.

NOTE: This version of the bug fix installer supercedes all previous versions of the
Shimadzu Bug Fix software.
