Claire Zammit: Hi, everybody, and welcome. This is Claire. I’m so excited to be with
you again today for another course session, the next step on our journey to Awakening
Feminine Power—our Session Three—where tonight we’re going to unlock Power
Center Two: The Power to Realize Your Destiny.
As always, we’re going to start with opening centering meditation. I invite you to put
everything to one side and just take a nice deep breath. If you’re somewhere where it’s
safe to do so, close your eyes and just allow your awareness to drop down into your
body. Moving into a place of deep listening and deep receptivity, as if you’re opening
your inner eyes, listening with your inner ears, and becoming aware of all the feelings
and sensations in your body.
With each breath, allow your awareness to anchor into this deeper, wider center, where
you have access to the wisdom and power of your life experience; where you can step
into and breathe and align with the most powerful part of you—the part of you that
shows up for other people, the part of you that is generous, kind, and loving towards
others. The part of you that can connect and see and hold and mirror the highest
possibility for those that you care about.
Taking a nice, deep breath, turn all of that power, wisdom, love, and care toward
yourself. Just allow the parts of you that have been contracted and stuck in this lesser
version of who you are to expand, release and open. Anchor your awareness into this
deeper truth of who you are and the possibility of all that you can create in your life.
And with each breath, expanding outward to the edges of the room, becoming aware
of yourself as already connected to an energy and intelligence of life that’s bigger
than you. Knowing that all of life is organizing around your success, around your full
actualization, around the fulfillment of your highest possibilities.
And tonight, expanding your awareness into our global circle as if we were all together
in the same space. This is truly one moment in time. Just expand your energy to join
in with the other women in the circle, and know by doing so, we amplify our power to
transform, to evolve, to catalyze and to create.
Coming back to your intention, coming back to your commitment, coming back to
that creative impulse inside of you that is a “Yes” to nothing less than the greatest
possibility of your life. And we simply dedicate our time together tonight to unlocking
your power in even greater ways. And for our time together we say Yes, and thank you.
And so it is, and so it shall be.
Welcome, everyone. This is Session Three, where I will show you how to unlock Power
Center Two, your relationship with an energy and intelligence in life. It will allow
you to realize the higher destiny of who you are and who you came here to be.
I’m going to take you through a five-step process to unlock this power.
In the first step, we’re going to anchor into a Power Center in relationship to an energy
and intelligence of life that’s bigger than you–God, Spirit or the Universe. Having a
deep connection, forging an unshakable bond with an energy and intelligence in
the Universe is absolutely critical to being able to manifest and create and realize
the highest possibility of who you are.
The second step will show you how you can unlock the magnetic power of your deeper
desires. The deeper desires that you are holding in your body are the seeds of
your creative potential. And most of us haven’t learned how to connect with and feel
these desires in a way that feeds us power.
Which leads us to the next step—how you can unlock your intuition and your deeper
knowing.
And the good news is that you’re intuition is already very powerful. Your intuition
is already incredibly strong. The problem is we haven’t learned how to trust ourselves
and distinguish what that deeper knowing is in a way that gives us the confidence to
act on it and begin to unlock its power in our lives.
I’m also going to teach you the next step: how to take inspired actions. There’s a
misconception about the feminine being passive. But creating with feminine power
is a very active, engaged, creative process, and there are certain actions that you can
And the fifth step in the process of unlocking our co-creative power is to
become unstoppable, and to learn how to stay open and expanded in the face of
disappointment, setbacks, and delays so that you can continue to navigate your way to
your highest destiny in your life.
These are practices to be living with. Each week you’re going to discover new ways of
orienting and relating to yourself, to others, to life.
And I just want to remind all of us that transformation is not a linear process. So
you might find that something that you worked on in Week Two that you didn’t fully
integrate, suddenly in Week Five it all makes sense.
I encourage you to give yourself fully to where we are in the course, knowing that
there’s going to be plenty of time to go back and integrate anything that you haven’t
yet fully understood. Don’t worry. You’re not doing anything wrong. You’re totally in the
right place and on-course. Just keep moving forward.
To start us off, I want to talk about this idea of destiny—what it is that we’re yearning for.
There’s this very big moment for us as women, being among the first generations
in human history, having access to a lot of privilege and resource and freedom and
choice. And for many of us, it’s the first time in our family lineage where we’ve had the
opportunity to ask the question, “What is my destiny?”
Culture has evolved in the last 50 years in two very significant ways that have impacted
our worldview and our sense of what we’re lined up with.
The first is, we’ve been through a whole process in our culture of evolving beyond
traditional religion and spiritual paths being the framework through which we’re
navigating life. For most of our human history, the way that we would make meaning
or what we would align our life around had to do with being connected to one of those
traditions.
Life has always been in many ways been about something much bigger than ourselves.
It’s been about participating in something larger. And part of the way our culture has
evolved, there’s been a dethroning of the Sky God. There’s a way that we have taken
back our authority from a lot of traditional religious contexts and become a secular
society, where we are very much focused on the power of ourselves as individuals and
what we can create.
And in many ways the ideals that America was founded on represent the positive,
powerful spirit of this new stage of human evolution; this modern and postmodern
worldview where we’re oriented to the pursuit of success, the pursuit of happiness.
We’ve evolved beyond a lot of the dogma that these traditions had on our own
individuality and our ability to self-actualize.
The challenge is that where we’ve ended up now, for many of us, is making up our own
meaning. The great insight of postmodernism is just that there’s no absolute truth. And
everybody’s making up their own truth.
What that creates, particularly for women, is a way we’re not inside of a shared worldview
with other people at large. We’re alone to figure out in this world where we can do, be,
have anything that we want. We’re alone to figure out, “Well, what should we pursue?
What should we aspire to?”
We’re asking the questions, “What do I want? What is my purpose? What’s going
to make me happy?”
The second big thing that happened was the social and political liberation of women
to do, be, have, pursue these many things that we want. And it’s left us without a context
bigger than our own happiness and our own fulfillment really as the North Star for our
lives.
What I’ve found is that the yearnings that we have, for things that are connected to our
own personal happiness—like financial prosperity and radiant health and relationships
that are intimate and committed—all of these things are deeply important, but there’s
something even deeper that we’re hungry for, and that is to participate and feel a
connection with something larger than ourselves: to find a higher purpose, to experience
a sense of spiritual connection, to be together with others inside of a shared purpose.
One of the fundamental shifts that we need to make to awaken our power to self-
actualize, to self-realize, to co-create, is to find our way to a much larger context
for who we are and why we’re here. Because the paradox is we can’t really find
personal fulfillment or personal happiness in seeking personal fulfillment and personal
happiness. We can only discover our larger purpose and we can only discover what
our destiny is by asking a much bigger question.
The bigger question is not just, “Who am I?” It’s really “Who are we? Why are we here?”
And discovering the answer to that question really opens up an awareness of a much
larger context that we’re in.
I want to make this really concrete in your experience, because I know that this is a
group of women who have been working on yourselves for many years. Many of you
are longtime spiritual practitioners. And even if you’re not, you’ve had a powerful
experience of an energy and intelligence in life that’s bigger than you.
We want to connect with that at the beginning of unlocking this Power Center so that
we can forge an even more conscious relationship to it, as it really holds the key to
unlocking our creative power.
I invite you to take a moment just to find this powerful experience that I know you’ve
already had of a much bigger story about who you are and why you’re here. Just
think back to the deepest spiritual experience that you ever had, or if you wouldn’t
necessarily identify with it as being a spiritual experience, it might be an experience
of nature. It might have been an experience of a field or any kind of intelligence or
energy in life that’s bigger than you; if you want to call it God, if you want to call it the
Universe, if you want to call it nature, if you want to call it innocence, if you want to
call it expansion. Just take a moment to think back to the deepest and most powerful
experience you ever had of this higher power.
And take a step fully into it. Step back into your body. Breathe as you were breathing.
Allow your awareness to orient in the way that you were orienting, expanding your
awareness as you did, noticing what you were seeing, what you were feeling, what you
were sensing, smelling, tasting, what it felt like in the center of the deepest experience
you’ve ever had.
I just want to invite you to look in your own experience. And reflect on your awareness
of who you are and why you’re here from the perspective of the awareness that you
had then. Just write it down.
And again, ask the question, “Who are we as a shared humanity and why are we here?
Who are we and why are we here?”
We can experience a sense that there’s an inherent unity and wholeness and intelligence
at the center of everything that is. And my experience of this awareness is very much
aligned with the worldview that’s offered by Evolutionary Spirituality: A sense of the
ultimate purpose of life being to create a manifest world that expresses and reflects
the inherent unity and wholeness and perfection at the center of everything that is; that
there’s an intelligence and creative impulse of life that’s trying to get somewhere.
If you look back over the last 35 years of human culture, you can see there’s greater
and greater levels of awareness. There’s greater levels of consciousness awakening to
itself.
Thousands of years ago, if you encountered somebody who wasn’t part of your clan,
you would either run away from them or you would kill them. That’s kind of what the
reality of our relationships were.
Society then evolved into these tribal groups, but there was certainly a lot of horrific
things happening, like people would go to the coliseum to watch people fighting to
the death or being eaten by lions—somehow that was entertainment.
But if you look at what happened, there was a moral awakening to a deeper truth of
our connectedness, and that culture began to evolve.
Even as horrific as slavery that was happening just a couple of hundred years ago,
you’ll see that, there again, there was an awakening to that in certain places in the
world; that’s now something that would be considered absolutely anathema to our
cultural values.
Even though there’s a long way to go with all of the different problems of the world,
you’ll see if you look at human history—there have been wonderful studies done on
this—it’s extraordinary how the world is getting less violent, becoming more conscious,
and that there is this impulse toward greater levels of wholeness, connection, unity.
There’s an intelligence in the universe that’s trying to get somewhere. And it can
only get somewhere, the world can only change, the world can only evolve, through us,
through our own consciousness, through us consciously awakening to and partnering
with the energy and intelligence of life.
It’s fundamentally a shift in terms of our collective awakening. What would heaven on
Earth begin to look like? It would look like individuals awakening to wanting to use our
gifts and talents to participate in creating an outer world that reflects the inherent unity,
interconnectedness, and consciousness of everything that is.
Life—the energy of life, spirit, the universe, nature—is trying to get us to align and awaken
as active, engaged participants in this process of creating an outer world that reflects
the inherent perfection, unity at the center of everything that is. That’s where life is
seeking to go.
And if you imagine what would happen or what the world would look like if even just the
same resources or the same constraints or same problems that we have, such as global
warming or gender inequality or wage inequality, or all of these different challenges
and problems that we’re having—imagine what it would look like if everybody was living
inside the question, “How can I be a participant using my gifts and talents to create a
future and a world that is evolving, that’s developing, that’s growing, that’s flourishing
and thriving?”
If you imagine waking up tomorrow morning and everybody was inside that consciousness,
what would our world look like in one year? Two years? Ten years? Twenty years? Fifty
years? A hundred years into the future, what would the world look like, feel like, sound like?
What would become possible if our actions were guided through our awareness
of ourselves being an integral part of everything that is?
I believe that for each of us to experience the fulfillment of the yearning that we have—
which is to awaken to ourselves as a part of something larger than us, to use our gifts
and talents in service of something larger than us, to participate in whatever way, large
or small, even if it is just having a family and creating a new experience of relationship
between people—that would be evolving the world.
from this larger context. And I’ve seen that you can find personal fulfillment; that the
fulfillment to this deep ache and yearning exists.
To awaken our power as co-creators, we shift into partnership with this energy and
intelligence of life that is seeking to go somewhere; that’s seeking to use our gifts, our
talents, our own higher actualization, fulfillment, and purpose to participate in an event
that’s so much bigger than us.
Even though most of us are intellectually or philosophically aligned with the idea of
oneness and interconnectedness, our lived experience at times can be that we’re stuck
in an old relationship with God, Spirit, or the Universe as a parent in the sky that has the
power to say yes or no to our desires, rather than a partner.
A partner being, there’s equality in the power dynamic: I’m holding the power. I’m in
partnership with the Universe.
As opposed to God, Spirit, or the Universe is the one with the power and not me, or I’m
not supported by life.
Where we want to start is looking at what we’ve seen as the truth about who we are and
why we’re here in our clearest moment.
Let’s take a look at what our embodied relationship is with that higher power in the
places that we get stuck, so that we can transform it.
The first step in awakening our co-creative power: We’re going to anchor into a Power
Center with the energy and intelligence of life.
The way to get connected to where you are currently in this relationship with the energy
and intelligence of life, is to think about a time in your life—it could be around the area
that you’re working on in the course—and think about when there was a breakdown or
a disappointment or a betrayal or a setback in that part of your life.
It might be a moment where there was a betrayal or you lost your money in the stock
market or you have a child that becomes dangerously ill or something falls apart. We’ve
all had these kinds of setbacks and disappointments in our life.
And so, what we want to look for here is just our lived experience of faith, our lived
experience of trust, our lived experience of connection.
It might be you took a risk to create something that you wanted and it didn’t work out.
We’re all going to just extend a lot of love and kindness and space and support for one
another as we do this today together.
I invite you just to take a moment and really breathe into your body [at that moment]
when something disappointing and unexpected happened. Just allow yourself to feel
and breathe and welcome and turn toward all of the feelings in your body.
And just take a deep breath, and see if you can name the belief about life or God or the
Universe that gets revealed in that moment of disappointment. See if you can name it.
We’re just going to name it and make it conscious so that we can transform it.
So,
“I’m all alone. I’m not supported by life. God doesn’t have my back. God favors other
people or not me. The Universe is indifferent to my suffering. If I’m good, I’m rewarded;
if I’m bad, I’m going to be punished. I must’ve been really bad. Life is cruel.”
Just noticing it. Staying connected to yourself as this adult, powerful woman with
all of the resources of your life experience, the part of you that can hold faith and
possibility for other people, really making sure you stay connected to her, and see if
you can just take a step back and notice what happens and how you respond from this
consciousness or any story of not being supported by life.
What happens inside of this idea that life doesn’t support you or life has betrayed you?
Just noticing how you might respond in ways that are controlling, or where you start to
doubt yourself and begin to over-analyze and over-think everything, or you shut down
to your inner knowing, or you feel a contraction and you have to just go into your mind
and make your life smaller so you can feel safer and avoid taking risks. Or you might
feel chronically anxious, judging yourself; that there’s an overall lack of trust in life.
And what are the ways of navigating your life inside this contraction, inside of this idea
that life doesn’t support you?
Taking a nice, deep breath, shaking all of that off, shaking all of that out. Just making
some noise. Ahhh. Shaking that out.
Again coming home to Power Center, to this resourceful, wise, powerful woman that
you are.
And just looking, just being curious about your experience, and seeing, Wow, inside of
an assumption that I’m by myself to realize my destiny, there’s no higher power.
Just notice the ways in which you shut down from your inner wisdom; the ways that
you’re shut down from your own intuition; the ways that you might be shut down from
being receptive to help, support, synchronicity, signs.
So, you cannot self-actualize, you cannot self-realize, you cannot create the things that
you yearn for inside of a contracted or a disconnected way of relating to life.
It’s really interesting to see and to name what that lived experience is of God or the
Universe in the face of these setbacks. And to notice and be curious about that many
of us project onto life or God or the Universe the experience that many of us had with
our parents.
So, notice, if our parents were inconsistent, if there was a lack of safety in our early life,
just notice if this is at all like your experience in relationship to a higher power.
Is there any similarity to where you go in the face of setbacks and what your experience
was in your early life, your family of origin?
And so, most of us, when we look at the assumptions that get revealed in relationship
with life, God, the Universe in the face of these disappointments, do you feel like God
is a parent? Or God has the power and you don’t have the power?
And so together just in naming that, I want to anchor into and create a Power Center in
relationship with the energy and intelligence of life of, what’s the deeper truth? What’s
the deeper truth about your relationship with the energy and intelligence of life?
I invite you to, again, step back into that deeper, wider center where you could
experience the connection that you felt to a higher power in your most deep, spiritual
experience. Taking a step back into that experience of expansion, of connection. Taking
a step back into that sense of who you are and why you’re here.
And see if you can have the experience right now of stepping into this sense of power
in relationship to God, Spirit, or the Universe—connecting with that adult self who has
access to all of the wisdom of your life experience, stepping into that deepest moment
of awareness itself, of consciousness, of expansion.
The deeper truth is that all of life is organizing around my success. The deeper truth
is that life is inherently good; that there’s a life-positive impulse in the entire universe.
The deeper truth is that there is a creative impulse of life that is seeking to express
through me. The deeper truth is that I have everything that I need to realize the greatest
possibility of my life. The deeper truth is these yearnings, these deeper desires that I’m
holding in my body are the desires that life is having to express through me.
And in this Power Center, just aligning, just stepping in and acting as if:
If I absolutely believed all of life was organizing around my success, and that I and life,
God, Spirit, the Universe are powerful partners in creation ...
notice where you’re standing, how you’re breathing. Notice how that feels in your body.
I can take a stand through my commitment to realize the greater possibilities. I take a
stand through my commitment to express goodness, truth, beauty.
All of creation is organizing around my success. My deepest desires are holy and good.
I trust in the inherent goodness of my life and the creative impulse of life. I have the
power to express the goodness of life through me. I awaken to myself as part of this
creative process, of consciousness becoming conscious of itself.
I have the power to make a decision to express goodness in the face of disappointment,
wholesomeness in the face of betrayal, truth in the face of dishonesty, courage in the
face of weakness.
I’m a stand to partnership with life; to make manifest the higher aspects of my
human nature and, in that, I have the power to realize nothing less than the greatest
possibility of my life.
See if you can write it down right now. And just notice what happens, what opens up,
how you’re breathing in this Power Center.
I choose to align with the overall goodness of life. I choose to have faith in myself. I
recognize that faith is not a feeling. I recognize that faith is a choice.
Creating a power statement that anchors your commitment to partnership with the
energy and intelligence of life. Your power in partnership with a higher power.
This is a practice that you’re going to work on this week. It’s creating a power statement
that anchors your power as a creator in partnership with a higher power.
We’re in Power Center in relationship to the energy and intelligence of life. That’s a
very deep process and a lot of work here that we did. A lot of deep work.
Great. Let’s move into the next step. That was our first step. It’s a big first step. We’re
shifting into Power Center. We’re shifting into partnership with the energy and
intelligence of life.
The second step has to do with unlocking the magnetic power of our desires.
In our Western culture, in our masculine system of power, we have largely been creating
from the outside in.
How that works is there’s a desire or a yearning or a hunger that we have for something
that we want, and we picture it existing outside of us. And we feel like we’re in lack, and
we’re kind of in pain because we don’t have it. And it’s this sense of if I get that thing
out there ...
I’m trying to get something from outside and bring it into me to find fullness and
wholeness. And we’re trying to strategize how to get it—break it into steps and break it
into goals.
This is a masculine system of creating from the outside in: It’s out there. I don’t have it.
I’m going to strategize how to get it.
And it’s a very good system for manipulating things in the external world. You know: I
want to move this boulder, this 10,000-pound boulder from here to there, and we’re
strategizing how to do it.
But this outside-in way of creating doesn’t really work in this order of things that are
of the nature that we’re now yearning for—these deeper desires for our own self-
actualization and self-realization.
Instead of creating from the outside-in, you’re going to learn how to create from the
inside out. The source of all of our creative power to manifest the things that we
desire and that we yearn for are actually sourced inside of us.
And the seeds, the seeds of this destiny, the seeds of our potential really manifest as
our deeper desires, as our deeper yearnings.
The problem is that in our masculine paradigm of power in our larger culture, for a lot
of reasons, we’ve been really trained to distrust or disconnect with our appetites, with
our desires.
We’ve been taught to be modest, prudent, self-sacrificing, silent, not to want to eat too
much, not to want to have too much sexual desire.
Or, that the yearnings we’ve had are for things that we can’t necessarily see or know
how to fulfill.
What’s happened as a result is that we’ve shut down from our deeper desires, and
inside of a masculine system that’s outside-in, connecting to these desires without
being able to see the way to bring them forth, is actually a form of self-torture.
It’s been very painful when we don’t feel like life is supporting us and we can’t see the
way to have something, and so we disconnect and we shut down.
The problem is, these desires are actually the seeds of our potential.
Just like an acorn is coded to become an oak tree and a rose seed is coded to become
a rose, each one of us is coded to become ourselves.
Each one of us is coded with a unique potentiality for who we are and for what
our lives can be. And we can experience that potentiality as these deeper desires.
It’s really interesting. The Latin root of the word “desire” means “to await what the stars
shall bring.” I’m going to say that again. The Latin root of the word “desire” means “to
await what the stars shall bring.”
The Latin root of the word “want” means “to lack or coming from lack.”
It’s evocative of this idea that, when we have been pursuing the acquisition of objects
as things we want to get, most of us have the experience of feeling in lack as opposed
to feeling in fullness, of feeling in wholeness.
And many spiritual traditions say that desire is the root of all suffering. And so we’ve been,
again, in many of those contexts, trained out of our desires or of what’s “reasonable”
to want.
But the thing that I’ve really seen is that our deeper desires from Power Center—when
we’re connected to the truth of who we are, when we’re connected to the truth of
the support that life has for us, the truth of the support that we have from other—your
deeper desires are the seeds of your potentialities.
And by learning how to turn toward them and to connect with them, you activate them.
You awaken them.
They become a magnetic energetic inside of you that is the key to opening up your
intuition, the key to beginning to magnetize all manner of unseen support, the key to
being able to create from the inside out.
So this idea you’re in partnership with life, that life’s a big “Yes!”, that the Universe a big
“Yes”?
The energy that burst forth in the Universe, the Big Bang, the energetic fundamental of
the entire intelligence of creation, is a big “Yes!”
Just as there’s a creative force of life that organizes around and is driving and
compelling the acorn to become an oak, is compelling a rose seed to become a
rose, that intelligence of life is organizing around you becoming everything that
you can be.
And so, the point of partnership comes when you learn to turn toward the deeper desires
that you’re holding from this Power Center and be a big “yes” to your possibilities as
well.
This is the first step in beginning to activate the magnetic power: to feel the deeper
desires that you have from Power Center.
In a masculine system, it’s like, well, I need to figure out how to get them.
What you want to activate in a feminine system, is to get related, to get connected. In
a feminine system of power, connection is the source of power.
When you got in relationship with your feelings in Power Center, they began to
transform.
And when you get into relationship with your deeper desires from Power Center, just
by being connected to them, you begin to activate and unlock their magnetic power.
I’ll talk more about intuition in a moment, but your intuition is already very developed.
Your intuition is responsive, however. Your intuition needs something to respond to. So,
what are desiring to create or what is desiring to be created through you—the moment
that you connect to that, you’ll discover an immediate and instant and powerful access
to your intuition.
We’re going to practice feeling and connecting with our deeper desires from Power
Center, without trying to figure out how to manifest them, without trying to judge whether
or not they’re valid, without going into fear that you’re going to be disappointed.
Many of our mothers in very well-meaning ways trained us out of our desires in a way
of trying to avoid us being disappointed.
This is the Power Practice. You are going to feel into the deeper desires that you have
from Power Center.
Now, before I guide you through that process, I want to name when you feel desires
when you’re not in a power center in relationship with a larger energy and intelligence
of life.
See if you recognize the past relationship to the desires that you’ve had. It feels like
the power to fulfill is outside of you, and the experience of your desires is kind of
almost like you feel like a little girl or you feel powerlessness. There’s this sense of
powerlessness that it’s agonizing if it’s not fulfilled and you don’t get it. The hunger is
very, very painful and there’s a doubt that you’ll ever be able to have what you want.
And there’s a sense of waiting; that the power to make it happen is outside of you. And
you’re very kind of fixated on the specific form. “I want that particular man or I want
that particular job or I want my book to be a bestseller, that number on that list.” Right?
Just noticing that this is the old relationship to desires. And to call that, experiencing
our desires inside of false center. Experiencing our desires inside of false center, inside
of a sense of lack of faith in ourselves and the larger energy and intelligence of life, and
creating from the outside-in.
Now, I wanted to give you an overview of what it looks like and then we’ll see if we can
have an experience of it together.
When you are in Power Center inside this new relationship with life, you have the
experience of being a woman feeling your desires. You have a sense of fullness and
wholeness. The hunger itself is actually pleasurable and fun.
You have a confidence that your desires will manifest, that fulfillment brings joy and
pleasure.
And the focus is, you are generative. You are looking at the inspired actions that you
can take to bring this forward; the power to fulfill these desires lies within you.
There’s a sense of curiosity about the form that it will take. So the desire is for love, for
connection—it’s not necessarily for a particular man.
Or it’s for contribution and impact as opposed to a particular number on the bestseller
list.
And the focus is on the quality of the experience—it’s a very different experience of
desire from Power Center.
Let’s see if we can have an experience of this together; of feeling our deeper desires
from Power Center and unlocking their magnetism.
I invite you just to put everything to one side again, and just take a nice, deep breath,
breathing all the way down into your hips, down into your legs, down into the soles of
your feet, and into the Earth.
Breathing into this deeper, wider center this sense of, All of life is organizing around my
success. All of creation is organizing around your success. Life is rigged in your favor.
Breathing all the way down into your hips, into the experience of yourself as a grown,
adult, powerful woman who is already full, who is already whole.
Stepping into this field of limitless possibility right now, where you know and experience
that you have the power, you have the power to realize the greatest possibility of your
life.
All of life is organizing around your success. You are already full. You are already whole.
You are already complete.
You’re curious. You’re open. You’re receptive to discover the deeper desires with a
kind of curiosity and expectancy, like, “I wonder what is seeking to be created through
me? I wonder. I’m curious. I’m so curious about what it is that’s seeking to be created
through me. I wonder what potentials are seeking to be expressed through my life.”
This sense of limitless power and possibility. No judgment. No figuring out the how-to.
We’re standing in our circle together. This is our power desire circle where we are
amplifying and magnetizing our connection to our deeper desires and our power
to bring them forth, knowing that life is organizing around the fulfillment of our own
potentials the same way the creative force of life compels the acorn to become an oak,
That in our own consciousness, right now, we are in fertile soil with the sunshine, rain,
and nutrients that we need to flourish.
And just activating these seeds of our desires; breathing into this deeper, wider center
where you know and experience or act as if.
Breathing into this deeper, wider center of yourself as a passionate, juicy, sensual,
creating adult woman.
With each breath, deeper and wider, turning toward the deeper desires that are held
in your body, and just asking the question:
And don’t think about the answer. Listen to yourself. Listen to yourself and inhale and
breathe into the deeper desires in your body as though you could, just with the breath,
inhale them like you were inhaling the deep fragrance of a rose. And by doing so, just
infusing these desires that they can vibrate and pulsate throughout every cell of your
body.
Just allowing them to vibrate through every cell in your body, from the tips of your toes
to the ends of your fingers; through the top of your head, through your lips, through
the ends of your hair on your head.
Just taking a deep breath and inhaling them and experiencing a sense of pleasure and
fun as you ask yourself, What is it that I most deeply desire to experience in my life?
And listening to the response and breathing in the desires that radiate throughout
your entire body, knowing that you have everything that you need to realize and bring
them forth ... staying curious, receptive, open.
Just saying “yes” to the desires. Don’t censure them. Don’t worry about how they’re
going to possibly be fulfilled. Just turn toward them. Hold them. Breathe into them.
You might see images, lights, colors without necessarily seeing a form. Whatever you
see or feel, just turning toward and welcoming it.
And now asking the next question: What is it that I most deeply desire to express in my
And again, listening for the answer. Listening for the answer. Turning toward these
deeper desires. Breathing them in. Letting them vibrate and pulsate and fill your entire
body, your whole body with feeling the aliveness in each and every cell, becoming
magnetic. Vibrating with this total quality of “yes” to these deeper desires. Turning
toward them. Inhaling them like the deep, rich fragrance of a rose. Feeling intoxicated
by the joy of being connected to these unmanifest potentials. Full of creative power.
And just asking the next question, What is it that I most deeply desire to create? What
is it that I most deeply desire to create?
Asking yourself that question, listening to the answer, turning toward and breathing
in the desires. Like a deep, rich fragrance of a rose, letting them vibrate and pulsate
throughout your body. Letting go of any chatter from your mind about how-to or
strategy. Just getting connected. Feeling a sense of pleasure and joy and fun and
connecting and welcoming in and letting these desires fill your entire body.
And finally just asking the final question, What is it that I most deeply desire to contribute?
Again, listening for the answer. Breathing in the deeper desires for contribution, as if
they were the deep fragrance of a rose. Breathing them in. What is it that I most deeply
desire to contribute?
Letting them fulfill your entire body. Feeling the aliveness. Feeling the joy. Feeling
the connection. Feeling the unconditional “yes” in your alignment and stand and
commitment for this energy to find its way through you and into the world.
Just becoming aware. There is an energy and a potential that’s inside of you that’s
seeking to come out into the world. The source of it is inside of you, coming out into
the world. The power is inside of you coming out into the world.
And taking a nice, deep breath all the way down into your hips, turning toward and
aligning with a big “yes,” a big “yes” to these desires. Having absolutely no idea about
how to bring them forth. Just being curious, receptive, open. Breathing in. Having
the experience of yourself as a woman in your power, with a sense of wholeness and
fullness. Feeling the pleasure of these desires. Feeling confident in your ability to create
them, even though you have absolutely no idea how you might bring it forth. Feeling
the joy and fulfillment of seeing them manifest in your life. Feeling the power inside of
yourself. Curiosity about the form they might take and the experience of fullness and
wholeness and fulfillment right now in the process of creating these and manifesting
these desires in our lives ...
You absolutely must connect with these deeper desires to be able to actualize these
higher possibilities.
And if you’re having any difficulty connecting with your desires, there’s no need to feel
embarrassed or that you’re doing it wrong. It’s just noticing, “Wow, I need to connect. I
need to take time to connect and to feel these deeper desires.”
I want to coach you to be doing this practice that you can be working with each and
every day; to ask yourself the questions:
And when you practice and ask the questions and you listen, you absolutely will get an
answer. Don’t be discouraged if you didn’t get an answer in the practice today.
If you’re having any difficulty, what it’s revealing is just the breakdown—“Oh, it makes
so much sense that it’s been hard for me to figure this out with my mind because I’ve
been deeply disconnected from myself.”
So just having a lot of love and kindness for yourself if you’re having that experience,
and being very curious and very interested and very open to work with this in an
ongoing way.
What starts to happen when we connect with our deeper desires, what you will notice
is it’s like, “Wow, there’s an energy that’s inside of me, a potentiality that’s inside of me
that’s seeking to come out.”
This is how we’re creating from the inside out. There’s a higher potential that’s inside of
me, that’s seeking to come out into the world.
And so this is where the next step in our process of awakening our creative power
We’ve activated our desires, and your intuitive knowing is responsive. Your intuitive
knowing is responsive, so it needs something to respond to.
You’ve activated, you’ve said “Yes” to these desires, so now all of life is organizing —the
energy and intelligence of life is organizing around how to bring them forth.
And there’s a deeper knowing that you can access, that knows things about how to
bring it forth, that is a much deeper source of power than the power of your mind. It
includes the power of your mind, but your intuitive knowing accesses a deeper source
of wisdom that’s connected to a much larger intelligence of life.
Your deeper wisdom, your inner wisdom has the perspective that’s more akin to
the air traffic controller.
There’s a center of knowing that we can access that’s absolutely critical for being able to
navigate and bring these things forth. And the actions that come from our connection
to this deeper knowing are exponentially generative and powerful in our lives.
I was having such a powerful lived experience of what we’ve been engaging tonight
in my own life and really shifting into making choices and taking actions as though all
of life was organizing around my success, connecting to the deeper desires that I had
for contribution, for impact.
Then I asked the question, “What is my next step? What is my next step to bring forth
these desires in the world?” And immediately I noticed there was a much deeper
knowing that opened up.
And it was following that knowing that led to a completely different trajectory for my
life.
In my case, it was a knowing my next step was to go and get an office space. I needed
to go and get an office space. In my mind, I thought I really should be going and
looking for a job. But deeper knowing, deeper wisdom inside of connecting to those
potentials, it was very strong and clear: Go and get an office space.
Now, the knowing might not be that strong and clear in terms of it being a specific
step. Your knowing might tell you something like, Go and take an art class or go and
call and connect with a friend that you haven’t seen.
And by doing that, through taking the art class, it might be that through the process of
painting, you connect with yourself in a way that you haven’t for years that the idea for
your new business comes.
So it’s really important with your deeper wisdom that you create a lot of space for it and
recognize that it’s always, just the next step, and then the next step, and then the next
step. When you take the next step, the next step comes forth, and the next step comes
forth, and the next step comes forth.
So your intention for the course might be I want to have a breakthrough in my career,
and your deeper knowing is going to tell you that you need to go and take an art class
or you need to work on your health.
Take a moment.
As you’re connecting with your deeper desires, you’re connecting to the intention that
you have for the course.
Just asking the question, “What’s my next step? What’s my next step? What’s my next
step to bring forth these deeper desires in my life?”
And instead of moving into strategy—this is very important, recognizing the mind’s
tendency to move into strategy and figuring it out—don’t go into strategy. Move into
listening and receptivity and curiosity.
What’s the knowing that opens up from a place of listening and receptivity when you
ask the question,
Listen for the answer for a moment and just write it down. “What’s my next step? What’s
my next step this week? What’s my next step?”
Writing it down.
You can connect with your intuition by connecting with your desires from Power Center
and asking the question, “What’s my next step?” and listening; listening for a deeper
knowing.
And then, the next step is to take inspired action. Inspired action is action that’s
connected to your deeper knowing as opposed to action that is coming from your
mind.
It’s really important to take action on the knowing that you have.
Creating with the feminine is a very active process. It’s not a passive process. The only
difference is that the action is coming from a place of being deeply connected to your
deeper knowing, deeply connected to your deeper desires.
It’s action that’s aligned with the agenda of life, that’s aligned with the creative impulse
that’s inside of you.
And you’ll find when you take actions that are aligned with this deeper source of
knowing and creative power inside of you that they are exponentially impactful.
Synchronicity starts to happen. There’s a sense of flow and magic that opens up when
you take action from here.
Your intuition grows stronger. Your power grows stronger. Your clarity grows stronger.
“What is one inspired action I can take this week to honor my deeper knowing, to
express my creative power?”
The final part of the process has to do with anchoring in unstoppability, anchoring into
your commitment. Right?
So you’re not waiting for life or the Universe to answer your wishes or fulfill your desires.
You are a committed partner with life. So, in the face of any obstacles or setbacks,
you’re not going to make it mean that life doesn’t support you. You’re going to instead
be curious about how you can use the breakdowns to prepare yourself for what it is
that you’re committed to creating.
We’ll unpack this more in the practices this week and also on the coaching call.
But that’s the final step in awakening our co-creative power: We’re standing in this
place of commitment and unstoppability, knowing that we have the power to realize
nothing less than the greatest possibility of our life. And using every setback or every
disappointment or every delay as an opportunity for our own development and growth
to prepare ourselves even more fully for the future that we are committed to creating.
Trusting and knowing that all of life is organizing around our success even though we
can’t understand or make sense of the breakdown.
So, that’s a practice. It’s a different relationship to life that we’re stepping into, and it’s
this different orientation in relationship to life, to our yearnings, to our actions, to our
knowing, to our commitment, to our resilience that gives us access to the power to
manifest, the power to create in our own lives and really, in the greatest possible way,
the power to create the future not just of our lives, but to step into the larger future for
our world.
Thank you so much, everybody. That is our course session Unlocking Power Center
Two, and I can’t wait to be with you for our coaching call, where we’re going to dive
really deeper into this.
And I just want you to know, if there’s one thing I want you to take away, I want you to
take away a knowing in each and every cell that all of life is organizing around your
success, that your deepest desires are holy and good, that your deeper knowing is
powerful. And that you right now, in this second, can just unlock your co-creative power
and forge an unshakeable bond with the energy and intelligence of life that is standing
with you, that’s standing for you for the fulfillment of your desires, for the manifestation
of your greatest vision. That by stepping into that powerfully, you will also powerfully
contribute and participate to creating nothing less than heaven on Earth.
