Introduction
Thank you for downloading this pattern, all you are going to need is:

Chenille yarn in 7 colors !


Color A (light brown) for the body and face
Color B (bright blue) for the hat
Color C (pink) for the details of the hat
Color D (white) for the details of the hat and shirt
Color E (dark brown) for the antlers
Color F (yellow) for the shirt
Color G (orange) for the shorts
The corresponding crochet hook. For my part, I used a 6mm crochet hook.

Fiber fill for the stuffing.


Safety eyes or black and white felt.
White felt for the details of the hat.

Ch – chain
Abbreviations
Sc – single crochet (US) - double crochet (UK)
Ss – slip stitch
Dc - double crochet (US) - treble crochet (UK)
Inc - increase
Dec – decrease
Mr - Magic ring
BLO - back loop only

Head
Color A
Row 1: 6sc in mr (6)
Row 2: inc*6 (12)
Row 3: (sc, inc) *6 (18)

If you want to use safety eyes, I would recommend for you to place
them now, between row 8 and 9, or anywhere you think is best !

Leave a long tail for sewing and fill the head with stuffing.

If you want to use paper eyes, you can cut two pair of circles : one
larger in white (mine is approximately 2.7cm in diameter - 1.06in).
One smaller in black (mine is approximately 2.2cm in diameter -
0.86in).
You can glue the eyes on row 8/9 approximately as well.

Fill the hat very lightly.
Row 21: (We won't work all the way around the circle), start by making a
chain of 11. Working on that chain, make 10sc. Make one more sc at the
base of the chain. make 22 sc around the circle. chain 11. Working on
that chain, make 10sc. Make one more sc at the base of the chain. cut
the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Attach the hat to head like shown on the pictures below. (note that
some of the following pictures were taken just before I did row 21,
that’s why there are no chains on the sides of the hat)
You can now sew the head to the body.
You can sew the arms to both sides of the body, on the same row
where the head and body are sewn together.

Change to Color D (white)

Cut the yarn and sew the circle like on the above picture.

You can then cut in white paper the cross (mine is approximately
5.5cm in diameter - 2.16in), and glue it to the middle of the circle.

Pink stripe
Color C
Row 1: chain 17
Row 2: 16sc
Row 3: chain 1, turn, 3ss, 2sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 2hdc, 2sc, 3ss
Row 4: do not turn, ch1, sc on the side (see picture), in the chain of row 1
do 16sc, sc on the side, back loop only - do 16sc, ss.
Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing.

Start by sewing the bottom of the stripe following the line of the hat
(see pictures below).
Sew the top part close to the bottom to create a sort of cap. Fill very
lightly as you sew.
Antlers x2
Color E
Part 1 (long part)
Row 1: 6sc in mr (6)
Row 2-15: 6sc (6) - 14 rounds
Leave a long tail for sewing and close the tip of the antler.

Part 2 (short part)


Row 1: 6sc in mr (6)
Row 2-6: 6sc (6) - 5 rounds
Leave a long tail for sewing. Sew this part to the middle of the long
part. (picture 1)
Then, sew the long part to the sides of the short part (picture 2)

Color A

Pinch the ear like the following picture
and sew.
Leave a long tail for sewing.

After than, you can sew the antlers and the ears to the sides of the
hat like the picture below.

Final touch
Sew some facial expressions using black regular yarn. You can refer
to a picture of the character for accuracy.
Cut 7 small circles of white felt (diameter of 1cm/0.4in) and glue
them around the circle on the hat
