Fencing Risk Assessment 2012

This risk assessment document contains 3 potential hazards related to fencing at a primary school: 1. Fencing in poor condition or missing which could compromise security. This poses a risk to all occupants and members of the public. 2. Damage fencing which could cause injury to students or others. Inspections are conducted to monitor the fencing. 3. Fencing could fall in bad weather posing a risk of injury or damage. Inspections are also done to check the stability of the fencing. No existing risks were found to be inadequately controlled and all were ranked as low priority since inspections are regularly conducted to check the condition of the fencing.
