Operation Instructions and Maintenance Manual AD OPERATIONAL MANUAL Operation Instructions and Maintenance Manual AD SECTION 01 OPERATING PROCEDURE / SEQUENCE OF OPERATION DVR’s/ iVMS 4200 SetUp 4. Adding a DVR 1.1. Open iVMS4200 v.2.4 using your user name and password 41.2. On control pane, select device management 1.3, Select server; on the online device, you can see the Hikvision DVR connected on your network 1.4, Select the DVR then click +Add to Client 1.5. The Add will ask you for Device Nickname, User Name, and Password 1.6. Once the DVR is added, it will appear on the Device for Management 2. IP Cameras Configuration 2.1 All IP camera have to be powered up and connected to the network with your laptop 2.2 Use IP Scanner if your IP camera can't retrieve the IP addresses of your IP cameras 2.3 On Le, change the IP addresses, subnet masks, gateways of the IP cameras assigned for each branch 3. Remote Configuration 3.1 On Device Management ~ Server ~ Device for Management, select the DVR that you want to configure, and then click Remote Configuration 3.2 On the Remote Configuration Pane — System — Time, make sure that the Time Zone is set to (GMT +08:00), if NTP server is available, check the Enable NTP box and input the Server Address and NTP Port, then Save the changes 3.3 Under System — User, add 2 new users for user, click +Add 3.4 On the User Parameter Pane, input the following 3.4.1 User Name: USER 3.4.2 User Type: Operator 3.4.3 Password: (let the user input his/her password) 3.4.4 Confirm Password: (let the user re-type his/her password) 3.4.5 Select only the following for the User Permission: 3.4.5.1 Local Playback 3.4.5.2 Remote Live View 3.4.5.3 Remote Playback 3.5 Go to Network — General; input the final IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway assigned for this DVR on this specific branch; Device port is 8000, then click Save 3.6 Go to Storage — General; status of all HDD has to be Normal; total storage capacity of 1 year retention for BPW BFB is 2478 Operation Instructions and Maintenance Manual AD: 3.6.1 If HDD is uninitialized, select the HDD then format!
