I. RATIONALE

In accordance with the Regional memorandum No.561, s.2023, dated

October 26, 2023 and in support of DepEd’s commitment to make the curriculum
relevant to produce job-ready, active and responsible citizens through
strengthening literacy programs. With the THEME “PAGBASA: Pag –asa sa
MATATAG na Kinabukasan. San Pedro Integrated School joins and celebrates
the 2023 PAMBANSANG BUWAN AT ARAW NG PAGBASA.

OBJECTIVES

1. The activity aims to foster love for reading among learners and enhance their
profound understanding of the pivotal role of reading and literacy in
cultivating critical thinking.

II. MATERIALS NEEDED

1. Books, story books, printed reading materials, flash cards

2. Slogan Making (illustration board, marker, pencil, oil pastel, ruler)
3. Sound system and microphone
