API integration requirements for SMA inverters

Step 1: If you do not have an SMA Sunny Portal account, register at


https://www.sunnyportal.com/Account/Register.

Step 2: The email used to access the account is called “loginHint”.

Step 3: Request access to SMA's API from your usual contact person or email
[email protected].

Step 4: Fill out an "API contract" document and identify yourself as a customer.

Step 5: Once the "API contract" is signed, SMA will share a “client_id” and “client_secret”.

Step 6: Validate that all installations are correctly linked to the account and assigned the role of
owner. This needs to be done at the “Sunny Portal” or “Ennexos”.

Step 7: Share “loginHint”, “client_id”, and “client_secret” with Prescinto.

Step 8: Prescinto will execute a manual process that will send an email (example below) with a
link to authorize access. Click on the link in the email and accept access to the installations.

Step 9: Click on the link in the email and accept access to the installations.
