COURSE OBJECTIVE:
The core objective of this course is to present the basics of engineering mechanics as it is
applied to tackling problems of statics and dynamics in both theoretical and practical field
Situations. It is expected that at the end of the course, student would have acquired the
necessary tools used in obtaining numerical, analytical as well as graphical solutions to
problems in mechanics. The fundamentals learnt from this course would be helpful for
student in further courses like Applied Mechanics Il, fength of Materials and more advance
courses in mechanics and dynamics.
