These short shaft vary in design, but all have some way to correct for misalignment and for movement
of the transmission. Some of these shafts operate with no lubrication, while other requires it. This
lubrication is usually in the form of grease and is often hand packed. This drive shaft consists of a shaft
with two flexible coupling attached at each end. The flexible coupling allows for small movements B/W
the engine and the transmission.
