1 PURPOSE
The purpose of this procedure is to provide a system and instruction for product/services
identification and traceability. The purpose of traceability is to support identification
from start to finish point for product/servicess received by customers.
2 SCOPE
This procedure applies to all material, product/servicess provided by Company and
identification of work stations and areas.

3 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This procedure concerns directly to the purchasing, store, and product/services.
Departmental head is responsible to ensure that the procedure is followed effectively.

5 PROCEDURE
5.1 Purchased Material Identification
All purchased materials and components are identified with a unique numbers, codes,
supplier names, date of receiving, batch number of supplier or purchase order number
generated by Company.
5.1.1 Where possible, suppliers or contractors are required to identify their product/services by
appropriate marking, tagging and labeling the product/services packing. The receving
person shall ensure that the product/services are identified properly. If
supplier’s/contractor’s identification is not appropriate, then receiver is responsible for
appropriate marking of purchased materials.

5.1.2 Product/servicess may also be identified be general identification of an area dedicated
for storage of particular product/services. Receiver is responsible for designating
appropriate methods for product/services identification.
5.2 Identification of Work Stations Machines and Equipment through
Tagging/Labeling
5.2.1 Inchareges/Managers shall ensure that all storage areas and work stations are identified
properly.
5.2.2 Maintenance department is responsible to ensure that all machines, equipments and
insturments are labeled and identified.
