5-Year BA-LL.B. Programme
On-line Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the 5-Year BA-LL.B. Programme
offered at Department of Law, University of Kashmir and various private affiliated Law Colleges for the
academic session 2023. The candidates are advised to peruse the Prospectus/Admission Policy thoroughly,
available on University website www.kashmiruniversity.net and check eligibility/other details before
submitting their Application Forms.
I) Important dates:
Issuance of On-line Application Form From June 14, 2023
Last date for submission of On-line Application Form and
June 24, 2023
deposition of requisite fee
II) Eligibility:
Candidates having passed 10+2 from any Board/Institute having obtained 45% marks for Open Merit
candidates and 40% if applying under any reserved category are eligible to apply for the said programme.
III) Mode of Selection:
The selection of a candidate for the admission to the programme shall be strictly based on the entrance
test to be conducted by the University of Kashmir.
IV) Submission of On-Line Application Forms:
The candidates are advised to follow the below steps for filling their On-Line Application Forms.

Admissions. Read Important Instructions for Registration and Submission of Form carefully
before proceeding further.
Step-2: Candidate needs to register him/herself before submitting the Online Application Form. For
Registration with the System Click on the “Register as Student”. Remember the Username and
Password for future reference.
Step-3: After successful Registration, login into the system for submitting On-line Application Form.
Enter your “Registration No.” and Click “Next”.
Step-4: Enter the required details and upload your latest passport size Photograph and click “Next”.
Step-5: If there is any variation click on “Previous” button, make necessary corrections and then Click
“Submit”. Get a printout of the Form and note the Form No. for future reference.
Step-6: Deposit the non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 250/- (including IT fee of Rs. 150/-) plus
Processing/Entrance Test Fee of Rs. 500/- i.e Rs. 750/- through Online mode only.

V) Submission of downloaded Application Form (Hard copy):
After submitting the On-Line Application Form, the candidates need not submit the hard copies of
Application Form but had to retain the hard copy of Application Form with themselves for future
reference, as and when desired during process of admission.
VII) Additional information:
• The candidates must check the status of their Application Forms after five days of online
submission of Application Form. In case, the status of Application is not updated to “Fee
Received” or “Fee Reconciliation is Pending” get displayed, the candidate should contact the
Directorate of IT&SS, University of Kashmir, alongwith Application Form and all other
documents, within two days after the last date of submission of Application Forms is over.
Thereafter, no claim, whatsoever, will be entertained by the University.
