The product is insoluble in water and can be separated by filtration.

May cause irritation of the eyes. If inhaled, may cause irritation of the respiratory system.
3.3 Fire and Explosion Hazard
Carbon monoxide and fumes of carbon oxides and hydrocarbon, lead oxide may evolve in fire. Use foam,
water spray, powder or carbon dioxide to extinguish fire.

4.0 First Aid Measures
Ingestion : Gastrointestinal disturbances, anemia, with more serious intoxication, there is
neuromuscular dysfunction.
Eye : May be abrasive. Flush eye thoroughly with water.
Skin : Not absorbed. May cause mild skin irritation. Wash free with soap and water.
Inhaled :Move to fresh air

5.0 Fire Fighting Measures
Special Protective Equipment : Non-flammable.
Suitable Extinguishing Media : Foam or water spray, powder, CO2, enriched chemical liquid.
Special Exposure Hazards : Wear dust filter mask.
Special fire fighting procedure : Avoid high pressure spray, avoid dust cloud which forms explosive
Hazard.

6.0 Accidental Release Measures
Personal Precautions :Avoid dusting. Wear appropriate dust filter mask.
Environmental Precautions :Do not sweep or wash into public stretches of water, sewers or
sites of unknown discharge paths.
Methods For Cleaning Up/Collecting :Contain spill with wetting or absorbant materials (sand/earth) and
remove for disposal in accordance with local regulations.

7.0 Handling and Storage

Information For Safe Handling:


Exposure by inhalation or skin contact should be minimized by good industrial hygiene practice. Wear
appropriate protective clothing. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in handling and storage
areas.

Information for Safe Storage:


Store in a cool, well ventilated areas away from incompatible chemicals (see ‘stability and reactivity’) and
foodstuffs. Product is usually supplied as a palletized load.

Respiratory Protection :Avoid inhaling the powder or dust. Wear appropriate dust mask.
Hand Protection :Wear PVC or rubber gloves.
Eye Protection :Use approved safety chemical goggles and dust mask.
Skin Protection :Personnel should wear overalls, headgear and rubber boots.
