Voice Over. Good afternoon students, teachers& guests! Please maintain silence and avoid
leaving your seats because our program will start in a few minutes. Thank you [pause a while].
Voice Over. Once again, may we request everyone to please settle down. Our program will
begin in a few minutes [pause a while].

Voice Over. We would like to request everyone to please rise for our opening prayer and the
singing of the Philippine National Anthem. To be followed by a prayer, the Sugbo Hymn& the
Barili Hymn.
Voice Over. Thank you. You may now be seated.
Part 003 | Greetings and Opening Spiels]
Together. Good afternoon dear students, teachers and guests! (pause)
Host A. According to an American physicist, mathematician, and string theorist, “Science is a way of life.
Science is a perspective. Science is a process that takes us from confusion to understanding in a manner that’s
precise, predictive and reliable- a transformation, for those lucky enough to experience it, that is empowering
and emotional.
Teachers, guests, students, ladies & gentleman,
welcome to our District Science and Technology Fair 2023.
Host A. Indeed this is the month that our science enthusiasts have long been waiting for.
Host B. I totally agree with you partner. Actually from over here, I can sense the excitement of our science
wizards and young inventors.
Host A. Wow! What else can I say? Science is everywhere. Science is what makes us human and what makes
our life even better. Science is life. And science is what we celebrate today!!!
Host B. You’ve just had it right! In fact, this year’s theme is all about;
Together. “Expanding the Horizons: Futures of STEM”
Host A. And to give us further insights, let us all welcome with a warm round of applause Mrs. Josephine S.
Dela Torre our DASTPI/ PRINCIPAL II of Guibuangan Elementary school, for the opening remarks.

Host B. Thank you very much Ma’am. That was a very meaningful introduction. We have a long day ahead,
and I know that you could no longer wait for our lineup of fun and exciting activities.
Host B. This time to give the rationale of our event this afternoon, let us all welcome Mr. Allan C. Orandoy ,
PRINCIPAL I of Minolos Integrated School.
Host B. Thank you so much Sir!
Host A. This will be a very exciting day, indeed!
Host B. To acknowledge the participants, let us welcome on stage Mrs. Milagros Jiovanne S. Bayang; District
Subject Specialist/ Master Teacher II at Minolos Integrated School.
Host A. Thank you so much, Ma’am!
Host B. At this moment , we may call on stage Mrs. Janice Maribong, Secondary Science Coordinator, to read
the mechanics of the Contest.
Host A. Thank you so much Ma’am!
Host A. But before anything else , we all need to know our board of judges, right?
To do that, let us welcome here on stage Mrs. Jean Anna Marie D. Bayang, School Subject Specialist/ Master
Teacher II of Minolos Integrated School (for Elementary contest) and
Mr. Ryan Maribong, Science Coordinator of Patupat National High School (for Secondary contest)
Host A. Thank you so much Teachers!
Host A. At this juncture to give her message for our District Science and Technology Fair 2023, ladies &
gentleman, let’s give our thunderous applause to our Public Schools District Supervisor, Doctor Margarita A.
Nierra.
Host B. Thank you so much Ma’am for those inspiring and warm words.
Host A. This afternoon we will witness exciting competitions that we will definitely give life to the
celebration.
Host B. Are you, guys, excited (to the audience)?
Host A. That’s not the energy. I can’t hear you! So are you guys really excited?
Host B. Now, that’s the energy! So students, break a leg and let’s make this event a feather on your cap! Good
Afternoon!
