Negative; subject + helping verb + not + verb(ing) + rest of the sentence

Question; helping verb + subject + verb(ing) + rest of the sentence

Can you write three sentences in present continuous?




Instructions

 At the start of the lesson split them into pairs.


 Use the random sticks idea.
 For the starter, you could say show them some simple and basic pictures and tell them do
you know the names of these.
 Vocabulary;
They need to think of answers to the question and write them on their paper.
They can write their own ideas, but these are some ideas. The underlined ones are needed
for the exercise.
Jacket, sweater, scarf, hoodie, jeans, boots, coat, suit, shoes.
T-shirt, slippers, shorts, pajamas, cap, hat, skirt, dress. heels.
Gloves, socks, ear muffs.

 Vocabulary exercise;
Cut the pictures. Number them on their back side from one to twelve. Ask each pair to
choose a number from one to twelve. After they do, they will have to find the name of
picture they get according to the number they chose. You could repeat the game if they
enjoy it.
 Grammar;
When you’re teaching the grammar, try to teach them what subjects and verbs are. Help
them to come up with sentences for all of the forms and convert them to the other forms
as well.
 for the grammar pair activity, tell them to work with their friends. Also, some of the
sentences might want to change the words in the brackets and other might not.
 For the individual grammar activity, try to move around the classroom and help them to
write sentences. It’s really important for them to write the sentences.
